If you’re collecting cosmetics in Sledding Game, the frog variants are some of the easiest to miss because the unlock conditions are… weirdly specific.
You’re not just playing normally here. These are hidden triggers, and if you don’t follow them exactly, nothing happens.
Frog Skins You Can Unlock
You’ll get two secret variants:
- Tree Frog (movement-based unlock)
- Poison Dart Frog (player interaction grind)
Both require you to use the default frog skin, so don’t skip that step.
Tree Frog Skin
This one is simple but very specific.
Step 1: Equip Default Frog
- Make sure you’re using the original frog skin
- Other skins won’t trigger progress
Step 2: Buy the Trampoline Prop
Head to the main lounge:
- Go to the prop shop (far right)
- Buy the Trampoline Prop (30,000 points)
Step 3: Go to the Fishing Igloo
- Find the igloo near the main lodge
- Go inside
Step 4: Place the Trampoline
- Put it inside the igloo
- Make sure the roof is close above your head
This setup keeps your jumps tight and fast.
Step 5: Jump 200 Times
- Stand in the center
- Keep bouncing
You don’t need perfect timing. Just keep jumping until you hit the count.
After ~200 jumps, the Tree Frog skin unlocks automatically.
Poison Dart Frog (Snowball Method)
This one takes more effort and patience.
Step 1: Use Default Frog (Again, Important)
- You MUST use the base frog skin
- Otherwise, progress doesn’t count
Step 2: Pick Up Snowballs
- Go outside near the lodge
- Hold C to grab a snowball
Step 3: Hit 100 Players
This is the challenge.
- You need 100 successful hits
- Each hit must register (listen for the “ding” sound)
Easiest Method (Don’t Skip This)
Instead of chasing players:
- Ask a friend to go AFK
- Have them hold a fish
Why this works:
- Snowballs won’t knock them over
- You can hit them repeatedly without interruption
Alternative:
- Hit players sitting on benches (as long as hits register)
Step 4: Keep Throwing Until 100 Hits
- No shortcuts here
- Just repeat until complete
Once done, you’ll unlock the Poison Dart Frog skin.
These unlocks are less about skill and more about knowing the trick behind them. Once you follow the exact setup, both skins become straightforward.
The Tree Frog is quick and relaxing. The Poison Dart Frog is more of a grind, but with the AFK trick, it becomes manageable instead of painful.
