If you’ve already reached the credits in Stonemachia and are now staring at an incomplete card collection, welcome to the real endgame.
Collecting every card is one of the biggest challenges in the game because Stonemachia doesn’t exactly tell you where many of them come from. Some cards drop from bosses automatically, others require hidden quests, a few are tied to fishing encounters, and several can even be missed entirely if you’re not paying attention.
After finishing the story, I found myself spending more time hunting cards than fighting bosses. Some were straightforward, while others had me revisiting locations I’d completely forgotten about. To make things easier, this guide covers every card location, boss reward, hidden requirement, and missable card you’ll need for 100% completion.
Stonemachia Card Collection Guide – 75 Enemy Cards
Before diving into specific cards, it’s important to understand how card acquisition works.
There are generally four ways to obtain cards:
- Defeating bosses
- Farming regular enemies with card auras
- Completing hidden events or puzzles
- Encountering bosses through fishing
Many bosses automatically award their card after defeat. However, regular enemies require finding a version that spawns with a glowing card aura.
If an enemy doesn’t have the aura, you’ll usually need to reload the area, die, or revisit the location until another version appears.
Missable Cards You Should Prioritize
Most cards can eventually be farmed, but a few deserve special attention.
Chiave Angelica (Card 17)
This is one of the easiest cards to miss.
These key-shaped enemies disappear extremely quickly and don’t properly respawn later in the game. If you eliminate them without obtaining the card version, you may need to start New Game Plus to collect it.
Whenever you encounter one, immediately check for a card aura before defeating it.
Guardiano Reale (Card 39)
Another potentially missable card.
The easiest opportunity appears near the Ancient Mammal Queen arena. Check whether the guardian blocking the entrance has a card aura before progressing.
If you miss all story versions, you’ll need to rely on fishing encounters later.
Cards Automatically Awarded by Boss Defeats
Fortunately, many cards are earned simply by defeating major bosses.
Some notable examples include:
- Angelo Batacchio
- Arpia Esiliata
- Centauro Aureo
- Centauro Furcifel
- Chierico Uziel
- Coccatrice Di Pietra
- Il Behemoth
- Il Re
- Leone Di Pietra
- Leone Sidereo
- Leviatano
- Leviatano Igneo
- Mikhaim
- Naiade
- Ophanim
- Samael
- Samael Stream
- Zerafim
If you’re missing one of these, revisit the boss arena or look for fishing opportunities that allow rematches.
Hidden Cards Locked Behind Special Events
Not every card comes from combat.
Several require completing side content, secret interactions, or environmental puzzles.
Bimi (Card 8)
One of the strangest cards in the game.
To obtain it, you’ll need to progress through multiple story-related events involving Derasin, Navilia, Vespers Crypt, and the darkened Spire staircase.
Eventually, a large Bimi becomes available in a hidden room. Interacting with it rewards the card.
Consorti Mammiferi (Card 21)
After defeating both the Ancient Mammal King and Ancient Mammal Queen, return to the King’s Keep.
Visit the nearby graveyard, destroy the grave markers, defeat the guardian, and enter the newly opened mausoleum to claim the card.
Lo Scultore (Card 49)
This card is tied to recovering your armor.
Because the game doesn’t clearly direct players toward this objective, many people finish the story without realizing the card exists.
Medhelan (World Card 51)
This card is particularly easy to overlook.
Ride a windmill in Castelvento and locate an interactive window. After listening to a conversation between two mice, the card will literally fall through the window and into your inventory.
It’s one of the more memorable secrets in the game.
Tommaso (Card 69)
Unlike most boss-related cards, Tommaso’s card isn’t awarded after victory.
Instead, enter the room located behind him after the fight and collect it manually.
Best Cards to Farm Early
Several enemy cards are extremely easy to obtain once you know where to look.
Auriga
Found throughout Village of Stone and Valley of the Mills.
These cannon birds are common enough that you’ll likely obtain the card naturally while exploring.
Bombarda
Available in both Castlevento and Stone Village.
Because they appear frequently, this is one of the fastest cards to farm.
Pugile
Appears in Navilia and Castlevento.
Watch carefully for larger variants, as their card aura can be surprisingly difficult to notice.
Mulini
The windmill enemies are common throughout Castlevento and Valley of the Mills.
Most players acquire this card accidentally while progressing.
Trinacria
If you’re specifically farming this card, head beneath Scarlet Stronghold.
Several spawn in close proximity, making this one of the fastest collection targets.
Fishing-Exclusive and Fishing-Friendly Cards
Fishing plays a much larger role in card collection than many players expect.
Several bosses can be fought again through fishing encounters, including:
- Leviatano
- Naiade
- Leone Sidereo
- Centauro Aureo
- Liotru
- Gatto Di Legno
- Vascello Di Sangue
- Various Ophanim-related bosses
This mechanic becomes especially useful when you’ve already defeated a boss during the story but somehow missed its card.
Vascello Di Sangue (Card 73)
This is particularly important because the Blood Vessel boss is encountered exclusively through fishing.
If you’re missing only a few cards near the end of your collection, don’t forget to spend time fishing.
Hardest Cards to Obtain
Based on player experiences, these are usually the final cards people need.
Araldo Di Ophanim
The story encounter doesn’t reliably award the card.
Many players obtain it through fishing instead.
Chiave Angelica
Potentially missable and notoriously frustrating.
Guardiano Reale
Easy to overlook and awkward to farm later.
Rapa
Can be tedious because the enemies spend much of their time underground.
Rainy weather in Valley of the Mills tends to provide the best farming opportunities.
Zufolo
The feather-stealing enemy often requires repeated attempts before a card-bearing version appears.
Stonemachia’s card collection system feels almost like a second game layered on top of the main adventure. Some cards are simple boss rewards, while others require obscure secrets, hidden questlines, environmental puzzles, and even fishing encounters that many players never fully explore.
The biggest advice I can give is not to panic if you’re missing several cards after the credits roll. That’s completely normal. Most players finish the story with huge gaps in their collection. Focus on the guaranteed rewards first, then tackle the hidden and fishing-exclusive cards afterward.
And if you’re still missing that last elusive card after hours of searching, there’s a good chance it’s either tied to a secret interaction somewhere in the world or hiding behind a fishing encounter you haven’t discovered yet.
