How to Unlock the Stygian Owl
To obtain the Stygian Owl, you’ll need to collect a total of 13 Campfire Story Pages.
These pages aren’t found directly around the map. Instead, you’ll earn them by opening special treasure chests during the event.
Once you’ve collected all 13 Campfire Story Pages, you’ll be able to exchange them with Grave Dave, who rewards you with the Stygian Owl.
Step 1: Collect Bone in a Bottle
The first part of the process begins on the beach.
Throughout the event, Bone in a Bottle items will wash up along the shoreline.
Keep these important rules in mind:
- A Bone in a Bottle appears once every hour.
- You can collect up to three bottles at a time.
- New bottles won’t spawn until you’ve traded in the ones you’re currently holding.
Because of this limit, it’s worth checking the beach regularly instead of letting bottles pile up.
Step 2: Trade Your Bottles
After collecting your Bone in a Bottle items, head over to Grave Dave.
Trade the bottles to him, and he’ll reward you with a Treasure Chest that can be opened for event rewards.
This is the only way to progress toward unlocking the Stygian Owl, so you’ll need to repeat this process several times.
Step 3: Open Treasure Chests
Each Treasure Chest contains various rewards.
Possible rewards include:
- Acorn – 65% chance
- Cornbread – 30% chance
- Age-Up Potion – 5% chance
In addition to these rewards, Treasure Chests also have a chance to award a Campfire Story Page, which is the item you actually need for the owl.
