After finishing the original Broken Clocks puzzles, you might think you’re ready for anything the game can throw at you. Then the Retro Clock arrives and completely changes your mind.
This version is easily the toughest set of puzzles in the game. Nearly every room introduces a brand-new mechanic, from binary numbers and clock ciphers to pirate riddles, subway maps, and even a solar system puzzle. Some solutions require logic, while others test your observation skills more than anything else.
To save you from getting stuck for hours, here’s a complete walkthrough for every Retro Clock room.
Room 1 – Bakery Ingredients Puzzle
Your first objective is to collect every tile scattered around the bakery.
There are 14 tiles in total, so make sure you don’t leave any behind.
Next, examine the menu. You’ll notice Butter Cookies is highlighted, which tells you to focus on that recipe.
Write down every ingredient listed for the cookies, then compare those ingredients with the inventory chart on the wall. Place tiles underneath each matching ingredient until the hidden keypad digits appear.
Final Code
4190
Enter the code to unlock the first Sphere.
Room 2 – Statue Direction Puzzle
This room revolves around two paintings.
Study the fruit directions shown in each artwork, then rotate the nearby statues so they’re facing the exact same directions.
Completing the statue puzzle reveals four binary numbers.
Convert each binary value into decimal numbers.
Final Code
9216
Enter the code to receive the next Sphere.
Room 3 – Clock Cipher Puzzle
This is one of the more creative puzzles in Retro Clock.
Each clock represents letters based on the position of its minute hand. Using the decoding chart inside the room, translate every clock into letters.
The decoded letters will be scrambled, so you’ll need to rearrange them into a meaningful sentence.
Correct Phrase
No feeling is final
After entering the phrase, you’ll still need to solve the pipe-connection puzzle.
Simply connect the battery to the lock to finish the room.
Room 4 – Cemetery Skull Puzzle
Search every grave and collect all six skulls.
Each skull belongs to a person whose name appears on the graves.
Instead of guessing where each skull belongs, count:
- Letters in the first name = Row
- Letters in the surname = Column
For example:
- Oscar (5 letters)
- Weaver (7 letters)
Place Oscar’s skull at Row 5, Column 7.
Repeat the process for every skull.
Correct placement opens the grave containing the Sphere.
Room 5 – Pirate Ship Treasure
The pirate ship puzzle is longer than it first appears.
Start by reading the poster explaining the pirate symbols.
Each pirate skull corresponds to a colored flag and direction. Follow the order shown on the poster and record every result.
When decoded correctly, the letters spell two words.
Chest Password
BLACK PEARL
Open the treasure chest using the password to collect the Sphere.
Room 6 – Green Monitor Puzzle
This room looks intimidating but is mostly about button order.
Your goal is to turn every monitor green.
A good strategy is to first complete each row before fixing the remaining screens.
Once every monitor glows green, the Sphere automatically appears.
Room 7 – PSW Saloon Puzzle
PSW stands for:
- Page
- Sentence
- Word
Every mannequin gives one Page-Sentence-Word combination.
Open the booklet, locate each referenced word, and write them down.
The words won’t make sense immediately.
After rearranging them, the final sentence becomes:
Time you enjoy is not time wasted
Enter the sentence to complete the room.
Room 8 – Toolbox and Wire Puzzle
Begin by recording the arrow sequence hidden underground.
Correct direction order:
- Up
- Up
- Left
- Down
- Up
- Right
- Right
- Left
This unlocks the toolbox containing:
- Screwdriver
- Air Pump
Use the screwdriver to open the electrical panel.
Next comes the color wire puzzle.
Arrange every colored wire exactly so none overlap incorrectly, then restore electricity by pulling the lever.
Finally, inflate the Sphere using the air pump before collecting it.
Room 9 – Classroom Seating Puzzle
This room takes patience more than anything else.
Watch the projector and write down every student’s name.
Next, use the seating chart to locate each student’s assigned desk.
Each desk hides a letter underneath.
Following every student in order gradually reveals a hidden sentence.
Correct Phrase
Time the healer and the killer
Enter the phrase to receive the next Sphere.
Room 10 – Beach Symbol Puzzle
You’ll solve five separate riddles here.
Each poem has one missing word.
Find the missing word, then convert every letter into beach symbols using the nearby bottles.
Examples include symbols such as:
- Sun
- Fish
- Coconut
- Tree
- Shell
- Surfboard
- Octopus
- Wave
- Umbrella
Repeat the process for all five castles.
Once every castle has the correct symbol combination, the Sphere appears.
Room 11 – Bus Station Lock
The first puzzle is hidden in the timetable poster.
Look closely and you’ll find the briefcase code.
Briefcase Code
590736
Inside are six rotating pins.
Ignore every subway line except the Red Line, since your current station begins there.
Rotate each pin until it perfectly aligns with the numbers on the route.
Reading every aligned digit gives the final lock combination.
Bus Door Code
326144
Enter it to collect the Sphere.
Room 12 – Space Station Finale
The final room combines two puzzles.
Step 1 – Arrange the Planets
Place the planets in their correct order from the Sun.
- Mercury
- Venus
- Earth
- Mars
- Jupiter
- Saturn
- Uranus
- Neptune
Correct placement unlocks the second puzzle.
Step 2 – Equipment Order
Throughout the room are posters marked with Roman numerals.
Each numeral corresponds to one piece of equipment.
Arrange everything in this exact order:
- Telescope
- Fuel Tank
- Camera
- Space Helmet
- Solar Panels
- Meteor
- Wires
- Rocket
- Satellite
- Robot Arm
- Tires
- Computer
Finish the arrangement to receive the final Sphere.

Retro Clock is arguably the most demanding chapter in Broken Clocks. Instead of repeating earlier mechanics, every room introduces a fresh puzzle style, forcing you to think differently each time. One moment you’re decoding binary numbers, and the next you’re solving pirate riddles, subway maps, or organizing a miniature solar system.
If you’re aiming to finish every Broken Clocks challenge, Retro Clock is the ultimate test. Take your time with each room, double-check your clues, and don’t be discouraged if a puzzle takes multiple attempts. Completing all 12 rooms is a satisfying achievement that’s well worth the effort.
