Kingshot Hero Tier List (August 2025) – Gen 1 to Gen 3

Choosing the right heroes in Kingshot can make or break your expedition performance, whether you’re rallying, defending, or farming. Note that conquest isn’t considered here—this is strictly about open-world expeditions and combat.

Kingshot Hero Tier List (August 2025) – Gen 1 to Gen 3

S-Tier Heroes (Top of the Meta)

These heroes are the absolute best in terms of skill synergy, stat scaling, and overall expedition performance.

Amadeus (Gen 3, VIP 7+)
Pay-to-win exclusive, but a monster if you have him. Insane stat scaling and strong expedition skills that add 25% lethality when joining rallies. His combination of offense and defense makes him unmatched.

Hilde (Gen 2, Cavalry)
Hosts some of the strongest expedition skills in the game. Her Elixir of Strength is currently the most powerful offensive ability. Perfect for rally hosting, with both offense and defense baked in.

Joerger (Gen 3, Archer)
Still under testing, but his kit is terrifying. He can boost his squad’s damage by 40% for three turns and debuff enemy lethality. The proc chance is low, but the effects are long-lasting and decisive in rallies.

Zoe (Gen 3)
Surprisingly as good, if not better, than Amadeus in many fights. Deals consistent damage over three turns, buffs squad attack, and increases enemy damage taken. A hero with no wasted skills—S-tier all the way.

A-Tier Heroes

Great picks that can carry you far, though they fall just short of S-tier dominance.

Chenko (Purple)
Strong rally joiner with lethality boost, but weaker overall since she only has two skills compared to legendary heroes’ three.

Eric (Gen 3, Infantry)
Solid defensive stats and skills, but underwhelming compared to Amadeus. Best seen as a tanky option.

Helga (VIP Hero, Infantry)
Another VIP option, great for rallies and solo PvP. Strong mix of offense and defense but overshadowed by Amadeus.

Yabble (Gen 1, Cavalry)
Easily obtainable through gold keys. Good balance of offense and defense, but Hilde edges her out in overall effectiveness.

Marlin (Gen 2, Archer)
Decent buffs and debuffs, but weaker than Joerger due to shorter duration skills.

Petra (Gen 3, Cavalry)
Better than Yabble thanks to stronger offensive potential, but still weaker than Hilde. Solid rally host.

Gordon (Purple, Cavalry)
Surprisingly strong for a purple hero. Grants squad-wide HP and attack buffs, making him a reliable free-to-play cavalry pick.

Howard (Purple, Infantry)
Double defensive kit makes him very useful for filling infantry roles, especially for non-spenders.

B-Tier Heroes (Situational Use)

Heroes that bring niche utility or farming potential but lack the flexibility or impact to dominate PvP.

FOD (Gen 1)
Excellent rally joiner with damage reduction against enemy squads. Outside that, not much use.

Saul (Starter Hero, Archer)
Cheap to build early, but skills are lackluster. Works for the first week if geared, but falls off quickly.

Yin Wu (Gen 2, Purple)
Offers lethality for rallies and a strong research boost. Great utility, but not directly impactful in PvP.

Quinn (Purple)
Has useful defensive and offensive procs but limited by having only two skills.

Ammane (Gen 2, Purple)
Brings healing bonuses and attack buffs for rallies. Very useful in PvE, less so in PvP.

C-Tier Heroes (Farm-Only or Weak in Combat)

These heroes are best left for farming or niche utility. They don’t shine in expedition PvP.

Diana (Gen 1)
Amazing for farming world mobs with march speed and stamina reduction. Completely useless in PvP rallies.

Edwin, Forest, Olive, Seth (Blue Heroes)
Purely filler. No meaningful contribution to expeditions or rallies.

If you’re building your expedition roster in Kingshot, prioritize Amadeus, Hilde, Zoe, and Joerger as your top-tier investments. Heroes like Helga, Petra, and Yabble are excellent alternatives if you don’t have access to the VIP or late-game options. Purple heroes like Gordon and Howard are surprisingly strong stopgaps for free-to-play players.
