Adopt Me is rolling out another major feature this week, and it’s one that fans have been asking for since pet customization was first introduced. The Adopt Me Pet Painting Update arrives this Friday, bringing new tools for customizing pets in the salon and, for the first time, the ability to change the color cycle of Mega Neon pets.
Adopt Me Pet Painting Update – Change Your Mega Neon Colors
A New Way to Paint Pets
The spray cans are gone. Instead, when you place a pet on the pedestal in the salon, you’ll now be able to select each of its colorable sections individually. This gives players much more control over how their pets look.
A large selection of colors will be available by default, while additional shades can be unlocked with Bucks. The developers have confirmed that if this system is well-received, they plan to expand it with an even bigger palette of colors in future updates.
Neon and Mega Neon Pets
The new system isn’t limited to regular pets. Neon pets will also support the full range of selectable colors.
The headline feature, however, is that Mega Neon pets will now have customizable color cycles. Each Mega Neon paint option will cost Robux to unlock, but once purchased, it can be used as many times as you like.
Even more interesting, these paints are tradable. Players can exchange them just like items or pets. Once traded, you’ll lose access to the paint until you either purchase it again or trade for another one.
This update pushes pet customization further than ever before. By removing the old spray cans and allowing players to directly control individual colors, Adopt Me is making personalization more intuitive and creative. The addition of tradable Mega Neon paints is likely to create new activity in the trading economy, as players experiment with rare color combinations.
With more colors promised in the future, the Pet Painting Update marks a big step forward for pet expression in Adopt Me.
