Anime Crusaders Tier List – Best Units & Traits Guide
Unit Tier List
S+ Tier – Broken Must-Have Units
These units dominate in every mode—Infinite, Story, Raids—you name it.
Anno is hands down one of the strongest units in the game. He deals huge AoE lightning damage to both ground and air enemies with high range and fast cooldowns. If you roll him, build your team around him.
Shadow is your raid MVP. His poison ticks destroy anything over time, and he clears clusters of mobs with ease. If you’re aiming for leaderboard raids, he’s essential.
GU is an all-round monster—massive range, AoE hits, and great upgrade scaling. No mode where he’s bad.
Bruo is solid in every category. He’s not as flashy as the others, but he always performs, especially in Infinite mode.
Shonen is the best hill unit for air defense. His crits and AoE melt flying bosses. You absolutely need him for air-heavy stages.
S Tier – High-End DPS and Utility
Still very strong and usable in any game mode. Use these if you don’t have the broken hybrids.
Sun Woo is a wave clearer with strong slashes and fast AoE. He works well early and scales fine into late game.
Lao is another AoE-focused unit with great utility. He helps clean up leftover mobs and bosses when paired with DoT units.
Toju brings burn damage and crowd control. He’s a strong pick for Infinite Mode lanes and applies pressure over time.
Ichi is a balanced unit with good stats, reliable range, and damage. He doesn’t fall off and is easy to slot into any team.
Buu starts slow, but once upgraded, hits like a truck. If you can support him with money units, he’ll carry mid-to-late waves.
A Tier
You’ll always need at least one farming unit and one utility unit in your team.
AI is the best basic farming unit. Simple and effective, helps you hit your upgrades faster.
Shunks is more late-game focused but gives strong returns if upgraded properly. A good pair with AI.
Goju offers time-stop, which is game-changing in raids or boss waves. Used properly, he can cancel entire attacks.
Speed Guard is a top slow support. He’s great on long paths and can stall enemies while your DPS units do the job.
Trait Tier List
Only a few traits are truly worth holding. Here’s the breakdown:
S Tier – Insane Power Traits
These traits turn any decent unit into a monster.
- Crusader (0.1%) is by far the best. +300% damage, lower cooldown, and extra range. It’s insanely rare, but game-breaking.
- Radiant (0.2%) is the next best thing. Great boost to both raw and true damage, lower cooldowns, and +15% total damage.
- Eclipse (0.8%) gives +25% damage and massive bonus vs. bosses. If you have it on your raid unit, you win.
A Tier – Powerful and Useful
Still rare but easier to get, these traits offer real value.
- Biohazard (0.15%) adds poison damage over time. Works best on AoE units like Shadow or GU.
- Aurora (0.36%) adds true damage and range. It’s solid on any ranged DPS or hybrid.
- Overdrive (1.5%) lowers cooldown by 20%. Feels amazing on high-speed attackers like Anno or Bruo.
B Tier – Niche But Situationally Good
These help early progression or farming.
- Hawkey (2.5%) gives +30% range. Feels great on Goju or Shonen.
- Glided (5%) gives cheaper upgrades and more yen. Nice for farming setups.
- Tactician (9.99%) boosts unit XP gain. Skip this unless you’re grinding levels.
C Tier – Common Traits
These are better than nothing but not worth holding for long.
- Focus (24.8%) gives small range boosts. Not bad on hill units.
- Agile (24.8%) gives small cooldown reductions. Good for early-game spam units.
- Fierce (29.8%) gives small raw damage increases. Can help if you’re just starting.
