This Anime Final Quest Tier List breaks down the current weapons and gear in Anime Final Quest, ranking them from worst to best based on damage output, cooldowns, utility, survivability, and overall usefulness in harder content like Nightmare and late-game runs. Since the game is still new and the item pool is small, these rankings focus on real performance rather than rarity alone.
Anime Final Quest Tier List – Best Weapon & Gear 2026
Weapon Tier List
Weapons directly affect your damage, HP scaling, attack speed, and wave-clearing efficiency. Faster M1s, strong AoE skills, and reliable ultimates matter much more than flashy animations.
F Tier – Sung Jin-Woo’s Default Weapons
These are the starting weapons and easily the weakest in the game.
Why they are F tier:
- Extremely low damage
- Almost no HP bonus
- Poor scaling into harder modes
- Skills look decent but do not compensate for weak numbers
These weapons are only meant for the very beginning and should be replaced as soon as possible.
Low B Tier – Hawkeye
Hawkeye is usable but flawed.
Strengths:
- Solid ranged abilities
- Decent skill damage
- Ultimate is reliable
Weaknesses:
- Very slow M1 attacks
- Weak in close-range pressure situations
Hawkeye works early on, but slow attack speed holds it back in fast-paced waves.
High B Tier – One-Eyed Ghoul (Ken Kaneki)
A slight upgrade over Hawkeye with better overall stats.
Strengths:
- Higher HP bonus than Hawkeye
- Decent burst damage
- Strong mobility skill
- Good ground slam ability
Weaknesses:
- M1s are still slow
- Legendary rarity does not fully match performance
Ken Kaneki’s weapon is a good all-rounder and slightly better than Hawkeye due to survivability and damage.
High A Tier – Umbrella
Umbrella is one of the strongest non-S-tier weapons.
Strengths:
- Faster M1s than most weapons
- Strong AoE abilities
- Ultimate deals around 500 damage
- Excellent wave clearing
Weaknesses:
- Not quite broken enough for S tier
- Skills require decent positioning
Umbrella dominates mid to late game content and outperforms almost every other weapon below S tier.
S Tier – Thana
Thana is currently the best weapon in the game.
Why Thana is S tier:
- Fastest M1 attacks in the game
- Highest base damage
- Massive AoE abilities
- Flame Arrow and Curse Slashes can one-shot tough enemies
- Ultimate (Domain Expansion) deals huge damage
- Grants the highest HP bonus (around 200 HP)
Even though the ultimate’s AoE is slightly smaller than others, the raw damage and speed make Thana unmatched.
Note on Egress
Egress is not ranked yet due to lack of consistent testing. Once more data is available, it may shift the top tiers.
Gear Tier List
Gear abilities are critical for survival, crowd control, and clutch moments. Cooldowns and reusability matter more than raw damage alone.
D Tier – Blood Hammer
Blood Hammer is usable but inefficient.
Pros:
- Decent damage (around 125)
Cons:
- Long cooldown
- Small AoE
- Easily outclassed
You can use it if you have nothing else, but it should be replaced quickly.
Low A Tier – Heal
Despite being rare, Heal is extremely valuable in harder content.
Why Heal is strong:
- Restores a large amount of HP
- Fast healing speed
- Can heal teammates
- Saves runs in Nightmare and Hard modes
Heal scales incredibly well as difficulty increases, making it far more useful than damage-only gear.
High A Tier – Time Stop
Time Stop is powerful but held back by its cooldown.
Strengths:
- Completely freezes enemies
- Excellent emergency button
- Can reset bad situations
Weaknesses:
- Extremely long cooldown (around 2 minutes)
- Not spammable
- Overkill for regular waves
If the cooldown were shorter, Time Stop would easily be S tier. Right now, it sits just below.
S Tier – Coyote Pistol
Coyote Pistol is the best gear in the game.
Why Coyote Pistol is S tier:
- Very low cooldown
- High damage
- Large AoE
- Medium range
- Can be used while moving
- Extremely spammable
In a game that rewards constant skill usage, Coyote Pistol shines. It clears waves, saves runs, and fits into almost every build.
Anime Final Quest heavily favours fast attacks, low cooldowns, and AoE damage. Rarity alone does not determine strength, as seen with Heal and Coyote Pistol outperforming many higher-rarity items.
