Berry Bury Berry All 4 Endings Guide (FULL SPOILERS)

Berry Bury Berry hides its endings behind systems that feel intentionally vague, half-idle, and easy to overlook. One ending happens naturally, two are tied to very specific completion conditions, and the final ending is buried behind a resource grind that the game never clearly signals is even important.

Berry Bury Berry All 4 Endings Guide (FULL SPOILERS)

This guide breaks down all four endings, exactly how to trigger them, and what to expect when you do. If you are hunting achievements or just want full completion, this covers everything currently in the game.

Ending #1 – The Natural Ending

This is the ending almost every player will see first.

You unlock Ending #1 simply by playing the game normally and progressing until the game concludes on its own. There are no special conditions, hidden requirements, or side objectives tied to this ending. If you finish a standard run without deliberately chasing secrets, this is the ending you will get.

Nothing special needs to be done, and nothing can be missed here.

Ending #2 – The Gnome Ending

This ending requires total gnome consumption.

First, you must consume all gnomes in the game and earn the associated achievement. Once this achievement is unlocked, something new becomes available.

Return to the main room with the computer. A gnome will now spawn in this room, which was not present before. Interact with it to obtain a disk.

Insert the disk into the computer.

This triggers a unique scene that is best experienced blind. It leans heavily into the game’s tone and is one of the more entertaining endings. Once the scene finishes, Ending #2 is permanently unlocked.

If the gnome does not appear, double-check that the gnome achievement is actually completed.

Ending #3 – The Dark Star Ending

This ending is tied to one of the game’s most deliberate collectible hunts.

You must first collect all 7 Dark Stars. Partial completion does nothing; all seven are required.

Once every Dark Star is collected, return again to the main computer room. Interact with the computer, but this time do not insert anything.

Instead, click the Trash icon on the computer interface.

After doing this, a familiar character will spawn to the left side of the room against the wall. This character provides another disk.

Insert this disk into the computer, just like the gnome ending.

A new scene will play. When it finishes, Ending #3 is complete.

This ending is easy to miss because clicking the Trash icon feels like a joke interaction, but it is mandatory.

Ending #4 – The Dark Berry Ending (Final Ending)

This is the most demanding and least clearly signposted ending in the game.

To unlock it, you must first save up 10,000 stars. There is no shortcut and no partial trigger. You must actually hold this amount.

Once you have 10,000 stars, you will be able to upgrade any Berry Buddy. After performing the upgrade, a Dark Berry Buddy will be born.

This new Dark Berry Buddy will eventually spit out a Dark Fruit.

Take this Dark Fruit and place it into the hole.

Doing so initiates the fourth ending sequence, where the entire map begins to fill with juice as the final scene plays out. After the sequence ends, Ending #4 is unlocked, completing the game’s ending set.

Important note:
Some players report that the ending does not always trigger immediately after placing the Dark Fruit. If nothing happens, use the chainsaw to cut a fruit somewhere on the map. This appears to force the event to start if it stalls.

This ending is often considered underwhelming for the amount of effort required, but it is currently the true final ending.

Ending Requirements

  • Ending #1 – Finish the game normally
  • Ending #2 – Consume all gnomes → disk in computer room
  • Ending #3 – Collect all 7 Dark Stars → Trash icon → disk
  • Ending #4 – Save 10,000 stars → upgrade Berry Buddy → Dark Fruit → hole

Once all four are completed, you have fully exhausted Berry Bury Berry’s ending content.
