The Third Sin may only add five new achievements to Blasphemous 2, but don’t let that small number fool you. The DLC introduces a brand-new area filled with hidden paths, collectibles tucked behind illusionary walls, servant progression systems, and a challenging final boss waiting at the end of the journey.
The good news is that none of the DLC achievements are missable. You can take your time exploring every corner of the new region without worrying about permanently locking yourself out of anything. In fact, if you’re someone who enjoys discovering secrets on your own, I’d strongly recommend completing the DLC blind first. Chances are you’ll naturally earn several achievements simply by progressing through the story and thoroughly exploring the map.
If you’re cleaning up the remaining trophies after finishing the DLC, this guide covers everything you need to know.
Blasphemous 2 The Third Sin DLC Achievement Guide (100%)
Before chasing achievements, you’ll need to gain access to the new content.
Your first objective is obtaining the Lamp of the Whisper of the Mist. Once acquired, a new pathway opens within the Choir of Thorns, granting access to the DLC region.
From there, progression is fairly straightforward. Explore the area normally, uncover shortcuts, defeat enemies, and collect hidden items. Most players will unlock at least three of the five achievements naturally before reaching the final boss.
Chorus of the Servants Achievement
Win the favour of all the servants.
This achievement revolves around collecting three special offerings and presenting them at the altar.
Each offering is divided into four separate fragments scattered throughout the DLC map, meaning you’ll need to track down a total of twelve collectible pieces before the achievement can be completed.
Offering of Consecrated Pottery
Several fragments are hidden behind mechanics the game rarely uses elsewhere.
One piece requires striking an invisible wall inside the fog-covered sections of the map. Another can be found by attacking a suspicious wall near a fast-travel room. You’ll also encounter fragments that require the grapple ability to access hidden pathways.
Pay close attention whenever you’re traveling through fog-heavy areas. If something feels suspicious, there’s a good chance a secret is nearby.
Consecrated Silver Offering
The silver fragments are generally easier to locate but still require exploration.
You’ll need to make use of abilities such as double jump and grappling while searching lower sections of the map. Some fragments are hidden in corners that are easy to overlook during normal progression.
Whenever you unlock a new movement ability, revisit previous rooms. The DLC frequently rewards backtracking.
Consecrated Gold Offering
The final offering pieces are spread across several rooms near unlocked shortcuts and traversal challenges.
A few are located directly on the main path, while others require reaching distant sections of larger rooms through grapple sequences.
Once all three offerings have been fully assembled, return to the altar and submit them. Doing so immediately unlocks Chorus of the Servants.
Atonement of Sins Achievement
Defeat Crescencia, Duchess of the Sleeping Face.
This achievement is earned automatically after defeating the DLC’s final boss.
Crescencia serves as the climax of The Third Sin storyline and represents the biggest challenge in the expansion. Fortunately, there are no special requirements attached to the achievement.
Simply defeat her once and the trophy is yours.
If you’re experienced with Blasphemous 2’s combat system, the fight is less about complicated mechanics and more about learning attack patterns and maintaining patience throughout the encounter.
Embrujo of the Flames Achievement
Unlock the full power of Embrujo.
To fully upgrade Embrujo, you’ll need to collect all 19 Marks of Embrujo hidden throughout the DLC region.
Most players who carefully explore every room will discover the majority of them naturally. However, completionists often end up missing one or two because several marks are hidden behind optional routes or concealed passages.
A useful strategy is to fully uncover the map before beginning cleanup. Any unexplored sections often lead directly to missing collectibles.
Once all nineteen marks have been collected and the upgrade path is completed, the achievement will unlock automatically.
Unbreakable Bond Achievement
Unleash the full power of a servant.
This achievement requires leveling a servant all the way to Rank 4.
Unlike some collectible-focused achievements, this one is tied to usage rather than exploration. Servants gain experience by actively assisting you during gameplay.
The Moonchild servant is often considered one of the easiest options for unlocking the achievement because of how frequently it participates in combat encounters.
If you’re specifically farming servant experience, revisit enemy-dense areas and allow your chosen companion to contribute whenever possible.
The process can take a little time, but it’s fairly straightforward. Stick with a single servant and avoid constantly swapping between them.
Eventually, they’ll reach maximum rank and Unbreakable Bond will unlock.
Omnis Facies Poenitentiae Achievement
Obtain every available skin for the Penitent One.
This is easily the DLC’s most time-consuming achievement and the one that caused the most confusion among players when The Third Sin launched.
To unlock it, you’ll need all eight available appearances for the Penitent One.
You can check your progress from the Extras menu on the main screen.
Basic Skin
The default appearance available from the beginning of the game.
No additional work required.
Second Psalm
Unlocked by completing Ending B.
Some players who had already earned Ending B before the DLC launched needed to complete the ending again for the skin to register properly.
Apostate Blood
This skin appears to be automatically granted for many players.
The community has struggled to identify a consistent unlock requirement, making it one of the more mysterious cosmetics in the game.
Light and Time
Earned by completing either Ending A or Ending C.
If you’ve already pursued multiple endings before starting the DLC, you likely have this one already.
Perfidy
Found within the Elevated Temples region.
Unlike ending-related skins, this cosmetic must be physically collected from the environment.
Carefully search the area and inspect any unexplored corners before moving on.
Atonement
Located in Two Moons.
Accessing the correct area requires entering from the lower Prie Dieu route. It’s easy to miss if you’re only following the main progression path.
The Third Sin
Awarded after defeating Crescencia, Duchess of the Sleeping Face.
This is effectively the DLC completion reward skin.
Penance of Virtue
The final skin is assembled from three separate fragments hidden throughout the DLC.
These pieces include:
- Fragment of Breastplate of Virtue
- Fragment of Leg of Virtue
- Fragment of Helm of Virtue
Several of these fragments are concealed behind hidden walls, so don’t forget to attack suspicious surfaces while exploring.
After collecting all three components, you’ll receive the completed skin.
Once every appearance has been unlocked, Omnis Facies Poenitentiae will finally pop.
