Capybara Go Moon Night Event Guide – Rewards, Board Basics
1) Mooncake Carnival — How It Works
Board Basics
Grid: 8×8 with hidden tiles. You begin with one tile revealed.
Every click costs 1 :Event_zhongqiu_guihua: except when you collect :Event_zhongqiu_guihua: or the 🪷 itself.
You do not get mooncakes or unique loot from the 🪷. The 🪷 only advances progress bars and rank.
The main value comes from:
- Progress milestone rewards at the top
- Ranking rewards
- Mooncake pickups and special loot revealed on tiles
Tile Types & What To Do With Them
Mooncakes (four colors): :Event_zhongqiu_heiqiao: :Event_zhongqiu_mocha: :Event_BlueCard: :Event_zhongqiu_zaohua:
Used in their respective mooncake shops. Prioritize when you’re preparing a shop buy.
Random Hammer :Event_zhongqiu_suijichui:
Reveals 5 random closed tiles. Use early to accelerate information and trigger chain effects.
Magnifying Glass :Event_zhongqiu_fangdajing:
Reveals all unopened tiles. Save for boards with good loot or when you have “spinner” tiles ready.
Spinners :Event_zhongqiu_heiqiao_all: :Event_zhongqiu_mocha_all: :Event_zhongqiu_zaohua_all: :Event_BuleCollect:
Collect all mooncakes of their color on the entire board. Best when most tiles are visible.
Bombs & Rockets :Event_zhongqiu_zhadan: :Event_HorizatalRocketCard: :Event_zhongqiu_shu:
Bomb: opens a 5×5 area and collects the central 3×3.
Rockets: horizontal or vertical.
If much of the board is still covered, they also open the two adjacent rows/cols while fully collecting their line.
If the board is already revealed, they collect only their row/column.
These can accidentally trigger other power-ups. Plan lines carefully.
Osmanthus :Event_zhongqiu_guihua:
Grants 3 :Event_zhongqiu_guihua: on pickup at a cost of 1 click → net +2. Always worth detouring for when nearby.
Special Rewards: :Everstone: :AdvancedAlchemyReagent: :Key_Gem: :Key_Legendary: :WishingScroll: :Gem~1:
Take them when efficient, but don’t bankrupt your progress economy.
Optimal Play Loop
Scout diagonally. Diagonal expansion exposes the most new tiles per click.
Prioritize value clusters. Osmanthus, special rewards, then setup power-ups.
Use the Magnifier smartly.
When you have a spinner on the board to vacuum a color.
On a “good loot” board (e.g., :AdvancedAlchemyReagent: / :Key_Gem: / :Everstone: clusters).
Corner starts are weaker for organic reveal; Magnifier offsets that.
Manage chain reactions. Line rockets through spinners when you’re ready to collect. Avoid triggering spinners too early.
Lotus strategy.
If you find 🪷 early and the board looks mediocre, take it and roll the next board.
If you see premium loot or spinners ready, finish your setup, then tap 🪷.
Use 🪷 to “peek” whether a board had pending special rewards (you’ll get a popup prompt if so).
Efficiency check. Not every board must be fully cleared. If you’ve vacuumed the high-value tiles and lack spinners, move on.
Pro tip: The lotus can’t be within 3 tiles of the start. That constraint plus the fact that your next board’s start equals the prior lotus location lets you predict search patterns. If you like tools, the community pathfinder linked in the notes can help minimize clicks.
2) Golden Osmanthus Fragrance (:Event_zhongqiu_guihua:) — The Pass
F2P Track
- Total: 750 :Gem~1: + 20 :Event_costItem:
- Clean and consistent value for daily players.
Premium Track (Paid Upgrade)
- Additional: 4500 :Gem~1: + 70 :Event_costItem: + cosmetic frame + :Chest_LimitedBrandSelect:
- Note: Extra rewards beyond these grant :Gem~1: only (no extra :Event_costItem:).
- Verdict: If you’re chasing the wheel and shop redemptions, the pass dramatically smooths the currency curve.
3) Full Moon Celebration — The Wheel
Primarily P2W. As F2P, you’ll manage 23 spins total.
Pity: 300. Most F2P won’t hit pity without stockpiles or purchases.
Rewards include :Event_BigLantern: for a premium redemption shop.
The new artifact :NewArtifact: and its Core are on this wheel, plus a new Homestead decoration.
Practical Advice
F2P: Treat the wheel as a side bonus. Use your limited spins and move on.
Low spender: The pass synergizes well; it pushes you closer to meaningful redemptions without hard-committing to pity.
Whale: If you want :NewArtifact: plus Core during the window, budget to pity and target the Lantern shop efficiently.
Currency Planning & Daily Routine
Target Pace (for the main event window)
Aim for ~150–200 :Event_zhongqiu_guihua: per day equivalent in board value and tasks to stay on top of milestones.
Grab Osmanthus tiles whenever they’re 1–2 clicks out of your path (net +2 each).
Bank Magnifiers until you either see spinners or a strong loot board.
Click Efficiency Rules
One click to reveal a useless single tile is your worst case. Avoid that by:
- Expanding diagonally
- Firing Hammers early
- Saving Rockets/Bombs to pierce dense fog regions and align with spinners
Redemption Priorities
Mooncake Shops (color-specific)
- If you’re meta-chasing: prioritize upgrades or mats that unlock direct account power.
- If you’re resource-starved: :AdvancedAlchemyReagent:, :Key_Gem:, :WishingScroll: are evergreen.
- Convert excess colors via spinners on fully revealed boards to reach shop thresholds faster.
Lantern Shop (from :Event_BigLantern:)
Competitive priority list:
:NewArtifact: → BiS or near-BiS items keep value beyond the event
Core for the artifact
Limited cosmetics you actually want
High-ratio mats that are otherwise time-gated
Advanced Tips & Common Pitfalls
Don’t auto-chain power-ups. A misaligned rocket can prematurely trigger a spinner and waste board value.
Not every lotus is worth chasing immediately. If you see a high-yield board, harvest first, then reset.
Corner starts are weaker. Either fan diagonally wider or commit a Magnifier if the board shows promise.
Check for special reward prompts when tapping 🪷 early—use that to judge if you should have farmed more first.
Ranking vs. value. Chasing lotus count boosts rank but can reduce resource yield if you skip good boards. Decide your goal per day.
F2P vs. Paid: What Changes?
F2P ceiling: Solid progress, access to the pass’s free line, and a handful of wheel spins. You’ll need careful board play to maximize shops.
Pass buyer: The added :Gem~1: and :Event_costItem: let you engage the wheel/shop loop more meaningfully and accelerate milestone pacing.
Heavy spender: The event becomes a targeted acquisition plan for :NewArtifact:, with Lantern redemptions rounding out value.
Sample One-Board Line (High-Value Setup)
Fan out diagonally until you reveal at least one power-up or Osmanthus cluster.
Use Hammer to pop five unknowns toward the dense region.
If you reveal a Spinner, keep exploring until 60–80% of the board is visible.
If you get a Magnifier, hold it until you either:
Have a Spinner available, or
See multiple special rewards spread wide.
Fire Bomb/Rocket to open lanes through unrevealed tiles, trying to include any spinners in the path.
Magnifier → then activate Spinners → sweep reward tiles.
If mediocre board and 🪷 appears early, reset.
Q: Should I always click the lotus as soon as I see it?
A: No. If the board is rich (spinners, special rewards, Osmanthus clusters), harvest value first. If it’s barren, take the lotus and roll the dice on a better board.
Q: What’s the best use of Magnifiers?
A: Pair them with Spinners to convert a whole color set at once, or burn them on loot-dense boards to vacuum high-value tiles quickly.
Q: Do Rockets/Bombs ever reduce total value?
A: Only if they auto-trigger other power-ups before you’re ready. Plan the firing lane so spinners pop after most tiles are revealed.
Q: Can I hit wheel pity as F2P?
A: Not realistically this event. Use free spins and focus your Lantern redemptions smartly.
Q: What if I only care about rank?
A: Beeline the 🪷 each board and prioritize speed over harvesting. Expect weaker resource gains.
