Cozy Island Magic Forest Guide – Raw Materials, Potion

The Magic Forest in Cozy Island introduces a unique gameplay layer with elemental farming, potion crafting, and magical exploration.

This Cozy Island Magic Forest Guide is designed to help you understand all the resources, recipes, and mechanics in the Magic Forest — including how to earn the Magic Broom, one of the fastest and most versatile vehicles in the game.

Whether you’re aiming to complete achievements, speed up your farming, or master potion use, this guide will walk you through everything step by step.

Magical Raw Materials

Magical Crops (Planted in Magic Forest Soil)

You can grow three special crops by planting normal seeds in Magic Forest land using a portable seed bag:

Kari (Carrot) – Contains a small amount of magic

Toma (Tomato) – Contains a small amount of vitality

Pam (Pumpkin) – Contains a small amount of order

You can buy a portable seed bag from the Magic Shop and equip it in your backpack to harvest these crops. Simply walk over the crops to collect them once grown.

Sleepy Tomato / Sleepy Berry

Found at the bottom of the Magic Forest, growing in bushes.

Does not require planting — simply approach and pick them up.

These are used in potions and also help during the Magic Track Challenge by giving a bounce effect.

Elemental Mushrooms

Mushrooms grow naturally on wooden logs along roadsides in the Magic Forest. Each mushroom represents a different element:

Blue – Water

White – Wind

Brown – Earth

Red – Fire

To harvest mushrooms, locate mushroom-bearing logs and pull them out by hand. These logs can also be purchased and placed on your farm to grow mushrooms passively.

Magic Powder

Magic Powder is a core ingredient in nearly every potion.

Trade 2 Kari (Carrots) for 1 Magic Powder at the Magic Shop.

Make sure to farm plenty of carrots early on, as this resource is used frequently.

Elemental Shrimp

Shrimp with magical elements can be fished from the pond at the top-right of the Magic Forest farmland.

Each shrimp contains large elemental quantities:

Red Shrimp – Fire

Blue Shrimp – Water

White Shrimp – Wind

Use a decent fishing rod and patience. These are rarer than normal fish but essential for high-tier potions.

Potion Recipes

Potions are crafted using combinations of the above materials. Ingredient quantities are defined as follows:

A small amount = 1 unit

A moderate amount = 2 units

A large amount = 3–4 units

The Magic Broom – How to Unlock It

What It Is

The Magic Broom is a fast and nimble vehicle that can jump. It’s essential for completing races efficiently and exploring certain vertical areas.

How to Get It

Location:

The Magic Broom is a reward for completing the Magic Track Challenge located at the bottom of the Magic Forest.

Preparation Tip:

Before attempting the challenge, collect Sleepy Tomatoes nearby. Eating them will give you a bounce boost.

Winning Strategy:

Eat a Sleepy Tomato while standing with your back to a wall — this gives a higher vertical launch.

Use this boost to cross tricky parts of the track and save time.

Finish the race in first place (Gold Medal) to unlock the broom.
