Instead of a traditional questline, players now have a mini treasure hunt in Free Play, where you’ll dig up hidden chests along the beach and unlock the rest of Captain Scarlet’s iconic set.

How the Treasure Hunt Works
- Enter a Free Play server (teleport from the main menu).
- Head to the new beach area on the expanded Free Play map.
- Speak with Captain Scarlet, who explains that enemy sailors have stolen her loot.
- Your task: find 5 buried treasure chests hidden along the beaches and islands.
- Each chest contains part of Scarlet’s set or other rewards.
All Treasure Chest Locations & Rewards
Here’s where to find each chest and what you’ll get:
Chest 1 – Captain Scarlet’s Makeup Face
- Location: Near the starting beach, look for a patch of dirt.
- Action: Dig at the dirt spot.
- Reward: Scarlet’s custom face makeup.
Chest 2 – Seashells
- Location: Walk the beach path all the way down to the final beach at the end.
- Action: Dig at the dirt mound.
- Reward: Seashell accessory.
Chest 3 – Scarlet’s Boots
- Location: Cross from the second chest to the small island nearby.
- Action: Dig at the marked spot.
- Reward: Scarlet’s Boots (with toggles: “no belts” or “only belts”).
Chest 4 – 50 Star Boost
- Location: Hop to the island next to the boots chest.
- Action: Dig in the dirt.
- Reward: 50 free stars (new type of treasure reward).
Chest 5 – Scarlet’s Hair
- Location: Across from Chest 4, on the opposite small beach island.
- Action: Dig the last dirt mound.
- Reward: Scarlet’s Hairstyle, a flowing design with lots of movement.
Completing the Captain Scarlet Set
With this update, players can finally complete Scarlet’s full set. Here’s the finished look:
