This guide explains every currently known buried treasure location in DYSPLACED, along with how treasure hunting works and what you need to unlock it. If you enjoy exploring every corner of the map and collecting hidden loot, this system is one of the most satisfying mechanics in the game.
Below you will find the locations organized by region so it is easier to track your progress.
Buried Treasure
If you played Dysmantle, the buried treasure mechanic in DYSPLACED will feel familiar. Hidden across the world are secret loot spots buried underground. These can only be discovered once you unlock the proper skills.
Treasure hunting becomes available a bit later in the early game, so don’t worry if you can’t access it immediately.
Required Skills
You must unlock two important skills to begin hunting treasure:
Treasure Hunting (Level 6)
Unlocks the Shovel, which allows you to dig up buried treasure.
Treasure Locator (Level 10)
Allows you to scan nearby areas for hidden treasure when the shovel is equipped.
Once you activate the locator, any nearby treasure will appear on both the map and minimap, making it much easier to track down.
How Treasure Locations Are Recorded
After you dig up a treasure:
- The location turns green on the map.
- It gets added to Points of Interest in the Collections tab.
If you haven’t discovered a treasure yet, it will appear as a “?” in the Points of Interest list. This makes it easy to track which ones you still need to find.
Centricos Buried Treasure Locations
Centricos currently contains 2 buried treasures, but both are unreachable at the moment in the current version of the game.

Keimai Buried Treasure Locations
Keimai offers a handful of treasures scattered across the region. These are easier to access compared to some other areas and make for a good starting point once you unlock the treasure system.

While exploring Keimai, it’s worth scanning frequently because several of these spots sit close to travel routes players commonly pass through.
Sanctus Buried Treasure Locations
Sanctus contains 7 buried treasures, and one of them is especially important because it unlocks additional content.

Special Treasure – Marble Quarry
The second treasure (Marble Quarry) contains a glyph. This item is not just regular loot.
It can be used to activate the portal inside the Shipwreck Survivors Cave located at:

After activating the portal, you will pass through a puzzle room, which eventually leads to another portal in the south-west corner islands of the map. That area contains the Harbour Master.
So if you’re hunting for progression or hidden story elements, this treasure is worth prioritizing.
Northern Sanctus Buried Treasure Locations
Northern Sanctus is a smaller region but still hides a few treasures that are easy to overlook while traveling between objectives.

Southern Ananke Buried Treasure Locations
Southern Ananke has 7 buried treasures, and some of them are placed in slightly unusual spots.

The treasure located inside the boat tends to confuse players the first time they try to find it, so make sure you search carefully around that structure.
Central Ananke Buried Treasure Locations
Central Ananke spreads its treasures across a wider area. If you’re exploring the region naturally, you will probably pass close to several of these spots without realizing it.

Because of the terrain layout here, some of these are easiest to grab while traveling between exploration objectives rather than hunting them individually.
Buried treasures are a small but satisfying part of DYSPLACED. They reward exploration, encourage players to revisit areas with new skills, and sometimes even unlock hidden mechanics like the Sanctus portal.
