Emberward Beginner Guide – 100% Achievement Walkthrough

This Isn’t Even My Final Form!, System Optimization

Goal: Play as Tiny.

  • Create a 3×3 tower using individual 1×1 rune blocks.
  • On the following map, reserve a 3×3 space, collect blocks with matching runes, and place them. Once the grid is filled, place the tower.

Monopoly

Goal: Carry the max 150 gold to the next level with Silas.

  • Use Demon Flame on Misty Forest. Don’t build towers — let the flame handle enemies while you stack gold.

Spawn Camping

Goal: Kill enemies at spawn points.

  • Use Scrap Master. After a few levels, stand near a spawn zone and shoot as enemies appear.

Swift Victory

Goal: Defeat boss quickly.

  • Play Scrap Master with Demon Flame on Misty Forest. Let the flame clear waves while you focus-fire the boss. Can be done by round 2 of 6.

Seriously, That’s Not How You Play This Game…

Goal: Win without building towers.

  • Use Scrap Master with Demon Flame or high DPS. You can also place towers on existing environmental blocks.

Companion Block

Goal: Collect 1×1 blocks.

  • Play as Tiny. Use workshops to convert to 1×1, destroy larger leftovers, and collect 1×1 rewards.

Block Mesa

Goal: Place a full 13×13 block area.

  • Play Chunk and repeatedly restart Desert Ruins until you get a map with a 13×13 open space.

Ancient Blessing

Goal: Win two rounds with no towers.

  • Use Scrap Master. Towers unlock after wave 2, so rely on Demon Flame or innate damage early on.

The Floor Is Lava

Goal: Build Lava Towers in infinite mode.

  • Build as many as possible in a long-run infinite game.

Elementalist

Goal: Avoid using Scrap towers.

  • Do not place any tower associated with the scrap rune.

Block Harvester

Goal: Use the Joker’s mechanic to harvest blocks.

  • Form lines to make blocks disappear and spawn present boxes with towers.

All You Can Eat

Goal: Collect all three scrap relics.

  • Best done with Scrap Master, or during a daily challenge with a scrap tank loadout.

It’s Super Effective!

Goal: Chain Lightning Ball Towers for max output.

  • Place 15 Lightning Ball Towers side-by-side.
  • Place a separate one with extended range to hit the row. Requires several range upgrades.

Just Want To Watch The World Burn

Goal: Buff Flamethrowers with range upgrades.

  • Use Tana for card control.
  • Reroll until you get Flamethrower and Rusty Telescope relic.
  • Collect 3 Flamethrowers with boosted range via cards and runes.

All Your Base Belong To Me

Goal: Destroy enemy towers before activation.

  • Use Fireball Towers. Monitor upcoming enemy towers and build burst-DPS accordingly.

The Perfect Toolbox

Goal: Build one tower of each of the 8 tower shapes.

  • Two shapes only have one tower type: Barrage and Scythe.
  • Big RNG achievement. Play Belloc to accumulate market currency for rerolls.
  • Starting with Chunk gives an early 2×2 tower, but doesn’t help with rarer shapes.

Wait, That’s Illegal

Goal: Apply permanent overcharge using Tana.

  • In Sealed Citadel, wait for the overcharge tower to activate.
  • Use Tana’s retrieval card on an overcharged tower to gain a permanent overcharge effect.
  • Set up 5 towers nearby and apply this once per round.
  • You can restart Citadel until you get the map with the overcharge tower.

The Chosen One

Goal: Max out a Giant Dice Tower’s fire rate and damage.

  • Build one, reroll until you get a 20 roll.
  • Then upgrade to the max. Repeat runs as needed.

Mining Time

Goal: Hit enemies frozen by Golden Statue.

  • Place Golden Statue early.
  • Design maps so enemies remain in range.
  • Ensure DPS towers target frozen enemies.

Lengthen The Corridor!, Labyrinth Designer, World Wonder

Goal: Build a maze over 1000 in length.

  • Use Misty Forest.
  • Prioritize 1×4 and 1×5 blocks and Inspiration Runes.
  • Collect Cartographer’s Manual.
  • On the final mission, build around the entire map perimeter. Doesn’t need to be perfect.

…What Tower?

Goal: Win without spending gold on towers.

  • Use Wood Elf’s Charm for free tower placements.
  • Best done with Tiny and Demon Flame in Misty Forest.
  • Reroll until the charm appears.

Advanced Circuitry

Goal: Another maze achievement.

  • Use same tactic as above: big blocks, long corridors, and Inspiration Runes.

Back And Forth And Back And Forth

Goal: Force enemy pathing to use all 3 cart connections.

  • Some maps have triple-linked carts.
  • Design the maze to force enemies across all three.

Welcome To My Backyard

Goal: Lead boss into a specific area.

  • Use Shard of Malice Tier 3, which removes walls on some maps.
  • Lure the boss behind the flame area.
  • Requires precise map design and controlled damage output.

This guide will be updated once the final two achievements become available.
