Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time Weapon Guide – Tier List

Weapon Types

There are four main types of weapons in the game: Swords, Greatswords, Bows, and Staves.

Swords are fast, balanced melee weapons that work best for the Paladin class. They offer a good mix of offense and defense.

Greatswords hit much harder but are slower, making them ideal for Mercenaries who prefer powerful wide-range attacks.

Bows are perfect for the Hunter class, allowing you to attack from a distance with rapid shots.

Staves are used by Wizards to cast magic from afar, relying on Magic Attack instead of physical strength.

Each weapon affects your stats differently. Swords, Greatswords, and Bows increase your Attack stat, while Staves focus on boosting your Magic Attack.

Where to Get Weapons

You can obtain weapons from various shops and areas across the map. Early in the game, the Weapon Shop in the Capital of Mysteria offers basic gear like the Bronze Sword, Oak Bow, and Oak Staff. As you progress, head to the Armory on Swolean Island for stronger weapons like the Gold Sword, Sugar Bow, and Sugar Staff.

Some weapons, like the Cherry Stick, can only be bought at special locations such as the Material Shop in Lulab Forest. Others—like the Napdragon Claymore or Fire Claymore—are not available in shops and may require quests, exploration, or crafting (currently under investigation).

Best Weapons by Class

Each Life class performs best with certain weapon types. Here’s what we recommend:

If you’re playing as a Paladin, start with the Borrowed Sword and upgrade to the Bronze Sword or Gold Sword later.

For Mercenaries, try the Bronze Claymore early on, then move up to the Iron Claymore, Fire Claymore, or Gold Claymore for more damage.

Hunters will find early success with the Oak Bow or Hunter’s Bow, and later dominate with the Sugar Bow or Cherry Bow.

Wizards should begin with the Novice’s Staff, then look out for stronger staves like the Pine Staff, Cherry Staff, or Sugar Staff.
