Classes in Farever define your combat style, weapon choices, talents, and progression path. Every class has different strengths, and your experience can change significantly depending on which one you choose.
Currently, Farever has four playable classes:
- Warrior
- Rogue
- Mage
- Priest
Each class unlocks Talents at Level 10 and gains major power spikes through weapon upgrades, Arsenal bonuses, and rune enhancements later in the game.
Farever Classes Guide – Bets Class, Skills, Tier List
Right now, the strongest classes overall are Warrior and Rogue because they scale extremely well into late game and deal high damage consistently. Mage is extremely strong for AoE and burst magic damage, while Priest is best suited for support and sustain-focused gameplay.
S Tier Classes
- Warrior
- Rogue
A Tier Classes
- Mage
- Priest
Warrior is considered one of the safest classes because of its survivability and bleed damage. Rogue is currently one of the highest DPS classes in the game thanks to poison stacking and mobility. Mage performs very well in group fights and farming due to strong magic attacks, while Priest shines in healing and support roles.
Warrior Guide
The Warrior is a melee-focused class built around critical strikes, bleeding damage, rage generation, and survivability. It is one of the easiest classes to play for beginners because it combines strong damage with excellent defense.
Warriors specialize in Hemorrhage, a bleed effect that is triggered by physical critical hits. This bleed continuously damages enemies over time and becomes much stronger with later talents.
The Warrior class performs especially well in boss fights because its bleed damage keeps scaling during longer encounters. Warriors also gain several defensive talents that make them difficult to kill.
Warrior Skills and Talents
The Warrior talent tree focuses on:
- Bleed damage
- Critical strikes
- Rage generation
- Defensive shields
- Sustain healing
Hemorrhage
\text{Hemorrhage Damage} = 40% \times \text{Critical Hit Damage}
Hemorrhage is the Warrior’s main mechanic. Whenever you land a physical critical strike, enemies begin bleeding and take damage over time.
Important Warrior Talents
Seasoned Soldier helps generate Rage whenever physical critical strikes land, making combat rotations much smoother.
Bloodletting increases the damage dealt by bleed effects, making Hemorrhage much stronger throughout the game.
Fighting Spirit increases critical strike chance and improves overall DPS consistency.
Surge of Violence allows Combo Attacks to occasionally empower Raging Smash with guaranteed critical strikes and no Rage cost.
Magic Conduction increases all damage dealt to enemies affected by Hemorrhage, greatly improving overall damage output.
Bloodfeast heals the Warrior whenever Hemorrhage deals damage, adding strong sustain during fights.
Second Wind acts like a cheat death mechanic by preventing fatal damage once every cooldown period.
Best Warrior Build
The best Warrior builds focus on critical strikes and Hemorrhage scaling. Prioritize talents that improve bleed damage, critical chance, and Rage generation first.
Recommended talent priorities:
- Fighting Spirit
- Bloodletting
- Surge of Violence
- Magic Conduction
- Bloodfeast
- Second Wind
Warrior is strongest when using heavy armor and weapons with high critical strike scaling.
Warrior Strengths
Warrior is excellent for solo progression because it combines survivability with high sustained damage. The class performs well in dungeons, bosses, and longer fights where bleed damage has time to stack.
Warrior Weaknesses
Warrior can feel slower than Rogue and Mage during early leveling because mobility options are limited. The class also relies heavily on critical strikes to maximize damage output.
Rogue Guide
Rogue is a fast-paced DPS class that specializes in poison stacking, combo attacks, mobility, and burst damage. It is currently one of the strongest damage-dealing classes in Farever.
The Rogue talent tree revolves around Lethal Poison, which stacks multiple times on enemies and continuously deals magic damage over time.
Rogues are extremely dangerous during extended fights because poison stacks keep increasing damage while weakening enemies.
Rogue Skills and Talents
The Rogue talent tree focuses on:
- Poison damage
- Combo attacks
- Critical strikes
- Mobility
- Cooldown reduction
Lethal Poison
\text{Lethal Poison Damage} = 18% \times \text{Dexterity Magic over 8s}
Basic attacks have a chance to apply poison stacks to enemies. These stacks can build up multiple times and greatly increase total damage.
Important Rogue Talents
Opportunity Strike allows attacks that apply poison to occasionally strike again for extra DPS.
Lethal Dose increases poison damage and significantly improves overall scaling.
Finish the Job increases critical strike chance against poisoned enemies.
Envenom allows Combo Attacks to spread poison to nearby enemies, improving AoE damage.
Bullying the Weak increases all damage dealt to poisoned enemies.
Leeching Poison converts poison damage into healing, greatly improving sustain.
Cheat Death prevents fatal damage and grants massive damage reduction temporarily.
Best Rogue Build
The strongest Rogue builds focus on poison stacking and cooldown reduction. Players should prioritize talents that increase poison application frequency and critical strike scaling.
Recommended talent priorities:
- Lethal Dose
- Finish the Job
- Envenom
- Bullying the Weak
- Leeching Poison
- Cheat Death
Rogue becomes extremely powerful once poison stacks begin ramping during longer fights.
Rogue Strengths
Rogue has some of the highest DPS potential in the game. It also offers excellent movement speed, dodge chance, and cooldown reduction, making combat feel very smooth and aggressive.
Rogue Weaknesses
Rogue is more fragile than Warrior and can struggle against enemies that burst quickly before poison stacks fully build up.
Mage Guide
Mage focuses on powerful magical attacks, ranged combat, and AoE burst damage. This class excels at clearing groups of enemies quickly and dealing large amounts of elemental damage.
Mage players rely heavily on positioning and cooldown management because they generally have lower survivability than Warrior.
The class becomes especially strong in group content where enemies are clustered together.
Mage Strengths
Mage has some of the best AoE damage in the game and can clear farming areas very efficiently. Magic scaling also allows strong late-game burst potential.
Mage Weaknesses
Mage is vulnerable during close-range combat and often requires careful positioning to avoid taking heavy damage.
Priest Guide
Priest is the primary support-oriented class in Farever. It focuses on healing, sustain, buffs, and survivability.
Priests can still deal decent damage, but their main strength comes from keeping themselves and allies alive during difficult content.
The class is very useful for group play and dungeon progression.
Priest Strengths
Priest provides excellent healing and sustain, making difficult encounters much safer. The class is also beginner-friendly because survivability is very high.
Priest Weaknesses
Priest generally deals lower damage than Warrior, Rogue, and Mage, making solo progression slower.
Character Progression Guide
Progression in Farever revolves around leveling, weapon upgrades, talents, Arsenal bonuses, and gear farming.
You gain Experience by defeating enemies and completing activities throughout the world. Activities only reward experience once, but enemies can be farmed repeatedly.
The Codex system also grants bonus experience after defeating enough enemies of the same type.
Weapon Progression
Every weapon gains experience while equipped. As weapons level up, you unlock additional active and passive abilities.
Weapon progression carries over between weapons of the same type, making it easier to switch gear later.
Weapons can also be upgraded using Spark Dust from Sparkling enemies. These upgrades increase stats and eventually unlock passive bonuses.
Arsenal System
At Level 7, players unlock the Arsenal system.
The Arsenal lets you equip a second weapon or shield that grants:
- 40% of its stats
- One active or passive skill
This system allows powerful build combinations and hybrid playstyles.
Talent System
At Level 10, Talents become available.
Talents provide passive bonuses that greatly increase class strength. Currently, each class only has one talent tree, but more are expected in future updates.
Rune System
Runes upgrade class abilities and provide alternate effects for skills.
Each skill can have multiple rune upgrades, but only one rune effect can be active at a time.
Runes are mainly obtained from dungeon quests and rare sparkling enemy drops.
Best Ways to Get Rare Gear
The main sources of Rare Gear are:
- Crafting
- Dungeon Bosses
- Activities
- Chests
Dungeon bosses are currently the most reliable source for powerful equipment because they have smaller loot pools and unique drops.
Epic and Legendary gear can begin dropping from level 11+ content, although the drop rates are very low.
