Fate/hollow ataraxia REMASTERED Beginner Guide & Achievement

In Fate/hollow ataraxia, you’re placed in a time loop that spans four repeating days in Fuyuki City. Each day is divided into Morning, Afternoon, and Night phases, and each time slot has a set of selectable scenes marked on the map.

There are two key types of scenes:

  • “!” Scenes – These are story-advancing events. They set game flags and unlock future content.
  • “New” Scenes – These are side events or variations that contribute to 100% scene completion.

Important Tip for Completionists:

Always prioritize “New” scenes first, and only then go for the “!” story scenes, even if that means looping a few more times. Some story flags can lock you out of optional content if triggered too early.

Missable Content & Scene Unlocks

  • Some scenes, especially those at school or involving certain maid characters, will only appear if you’ve made the correct choices earlier in the same loop.
  • Illya’s Castle, a major location with tons of content, is only accessible on the final day of the loop. Don’t miss it.

To check your current progress:

  • Head to the main menu > Entrance – your completion % is visible there. Each scene adds about 0.4%.

Taiga’s Quiz Party – All Answers (Easy to Expert)

Once Illya’s Castle is unlocked, you’ll access a special forest quiz scene. You can attempt Easy, Intermediate, and Expert modes. Each one contains unique scene variations, so make sure to win and lose at each level at least once for full completion.

There’s also a Night-time version with a meta answer:
“Screw Taiga in particular.”

Final Notes

  • Fate/hollow ataraxia REMASTERED is a dense and layered visual novel, and the time loop system means it’s easy to miss content if you’re not thorough.
  • Use the scene navigator and online script tracker to stay on top of what you’ve missed.
  • And remember — always do “New” before “!”. That’ll save you from unnecessary backtracking.

Enjoy your time in Fuyuki, and good luck breaking the loop!
