To trigger these hidden images, you need to stand in the hallway and look through open doorways into different rooms. Then use the camera to take a photo of the room from that angle.
When the photo develops, it may reveal an altered version of the scene that contains extra imagery or hidden lore.
This effect works for several areas of the house.
Bedroom Photo Secret
The bedroom has one of the easiest hidden image triggers.
Stand in the hallway outside the bedroom and aim your camera through the open doorway. Taking a picture from this perspective will produce a photo that looks noticeably different from what the room actually appears like in-game.
You can also reverse the perspective.

The Shed Photo Secret
There is one more place where the camera trick works.
If you stand outside the shed and take a photo of it, the resulting image may again differ from the normal view.
However, if you step inside the shed and take a picture facing outward, the photo appears normal. No hidden changes occur in that direction.
