Horripilant 100% Achievement Guide & Walkrhtough

I decided to put together everything related to achievements in one place so you don’t have to dig around or guess what triggers what. This covers all categories — progression, training events, familiars, riddles, and the endgame.

Everything listed here is exactly what you need to do for each achievement.

Quantitative Achievements

These are the straightforward “numbers go up” achievements. You’ll naturally unlock most of them while playing, but it helps to know the exact thresholds.

Tree – Material Production

These are tied to your passive material generation rate.

Production I
Reach a production rate of 10 materials per second.

Production II
Reach a production rate of 1,000 materials per second.

Production III
Reach a production rate of 100,000 materials per second.

Killing Enemies

These track total kills over time.

Bloodlust I – Kill 100 enemies
Bloodlust II – Kill 1,000 enemies
Bloodlust III – Kill 25,000 enemies
Bloodlust IV – Kill 50,000 enemies
Bloodlust V – Kill 75,000 enemies
Bloodlust VI – Kill 100,000 enemies

Click Force

These are based on how much material you gain per click.

Click I – Reach 10 materials per click
Click II – Reach 250 materials per click
Click III – Reach 2,500 materials per click

Spending Hemolyte

These count total Hemolith gained over time.

Blood Power I – Gain 10 Hemolith
Blood Power II – Gain 100 Hemolith
Blood Power III – Gain 1,000 Hemolith
Blood Power IV – Gain 5,000 Hemolith

Other Quantitative Achievements

Jack of All Trades
Get at least one level in every skill.

Skill Mastery
Max out any skill (except those required for unlocking).

Complete Bestiary
Kill every enemy type at least once (16 total).

Training Achievements

These are basically “first time” milestones. You’ll unlock them naturally as you learn the game.

Branch Collector – Collect wood for the first time.
Self-Defense – Kill an enemy for the first time.
Encounter with a God – Meet a God for the first time.
Increased Capacity – Upgrade storage once.
Dropped Meat – Escape combat and lose meat once.
Strength in Numbers – Level up an upgrade once.
It’s dark here… – Put out a camp fire (costs 100 meat).
New Life – Be reborn once.
Rock and Stone – Collect stone for the first time.
Metalsmith – Collect iron for the first time.

Familiars

These revolve around interacting with your companion system.

Oh, friend!
Obtain your first familiar.

Death in battle
Let your familiar die in combat.

Oh… oh no…
Sacrifice your familiar on the altar in camp.
Go to the right room in camp, click the altar while the familiar is in your inventory.

Zoonanny
Unlock every familiar and bring each one into the dungeon.

Pet Care

This one requires specific steps.

Your familiar must take damage but not die.
Then go to the mirror world.
Enter the room with the mirror altar (a nest on the floor).
Click the altar to restore its health.

Riddles (Leading to Gems)

These achievements involve the rift and rune combinations.

“I hear something falling apart…”

The camp rift opens after entering your first rune combination (it fills automatically during dungeon runs).

Steps:

  1. Complete the achievement.
  2. Enter the rift.
  3. Take the lantern.
  4. Light passages and pick the route without monsters four times.

This opens the gate.

The Middle Door

Unlocks after entering the second rune combination.

An NPC gives you a crowbar and dynamite, which allow opening new paths in camp.

Another Gate…

Unlocked after entering the third rune combination.

Bloodthirstiness

  1. Complete “Another gate…”
  2. Repair the bridge.
  3. Exchange materials for a Hemolite boost.

Rusty Pipes

  1. Complete “Another gate…”
  2. Repair the bridge.
  3. Repair and use the lever found in the dungeon.

No Longer in Limbo

Steps:

  1. Sacrifice a familiar in camp.
  2. Pull the water lever.
  3. Enter the rift inside the sacrifice room.
  4. Use the skull amulet on the ghost.

And Another Gate…

Opens after entering the fourth rune combination, available after finishing the previous step.

Riddles (Gems)

These lead to unlocking and placing special gems.

Cold-Blooded

  1. Complete “And one more gate…”
  2. Tear through the web by dragging it.
  3. Avoid the spider using the map.
  4. Click where the spider appeared to move forward.

Insert the green gem afterward.

Another Plane of Existence

  1. Complete the previous achievement.
  2. Memorize the flashing light sequence.
  3. Repeat it by moving between rooms.

No Longer Blind

Insert the blue gem.

Temporary Boost

  1. Complete “No longer blind.”
  2. Repeat the flashing light puzzle again.
  3. Buy any temporary boost from the merchant using Hemolyte.

This can be done anytime because the merchant path remains permanently open.

The Door Opens – Another Hole…

  1. Complete the achievement.
  2. Find a coin in the mirror world meat pile.
  3. Throw it into the well to receive a rope.

The Angels Are Singing Again

You need both a torch and a wing.

Wing:
Just enter the dungeon and obtain it.

Torch:

  1. Complete “Another hole…”
  2. Use the rope on the bell to get a saw.
  3. Saw through the grate in the mirror world.
  4. Install the tip in the room with eyes to receive the torch.
