Hunty Zombies Weapon Tier List and Complete Weapons Guide

Hunty Zombies, created by P Fresh (the same dev behind Basketball Zero), throws you into a fight against endless zombies using a variety of unique weapons. Each weapon has its own move set, range, and ultimate ability. Some excel in crowd control, while others focus on single-target burst damage. This guide covers every currently available weapon and which ones stand out in the current meta.

Abilities

[Z] Double Quake – 8.0 CD – The player swings their baseball bat twice, dealing 90 damage per hit.

2. Axe (Epic Weapon)

Moves

Hailstorm – Slam similar to Bat, but smaller impact.

Cyclone – A spinning strike that covers a short radius.

Close-Range Smashes – Most abilities focus directly in front of you.

Ultimate

A heavy smash, but limited by close-range hitboxes.

Strengths

Heavy single-target damage.

Good for aggressive melee players.

Weaknesses

Extremely short-range; you’ll often whiff.

Poor against big zombie groups compared to Bat.

Verdict: Decent, but overall worse than Bat in terms of crowd control.

3. Guitar (Ranged Weapon)

Moves

Echo Blast – A mid-range projectile, must be used from proper distance.

Chord Wave – AoE sound shockwave around you.

Sonic Rush – Dash attack that pierces through zombies.

Ultimate

Creates an AoE damage-over-time zone in the entire room. Fantastic for survival waves.

Strengths

Excellent balance of range and AoE.

Ultimate is one of the best room-clears.

Weaknesses

Positioning is important since Echo Blast can’t be used too close.

Verdict: One of the best for flexible play. Strong choice for mid–late game.

4. Dual Guns

Moves

Headshot – Straight-line precision shot, great when zombies line up.

Jackpot – Burst fire in front of you.

Bullet Hell – Wide AoE spray of bullets.

Ultimate

Rapid-fire burst similar to Guitar’s zone ultimate, but short duration.

Strengths

High burst potential.

Cooldowns reset quickly, allowing constant spam.

Flexible – works well against both groups and single targets.

Weaknesses

Surprisingly short-range for guns.

Requires good positioning to line up shots.

Verdict: Top-tier weapon. Combines fast cooldowns with high damage output.

5. Katana

Moves

Void Shadow – Shadow slash effect.

Blade Burst – Ranged projectile slash.

Fleeting Cut – A dashing slash for quick kills and mobility.

Ultimate

Not fully clear from testing, but appears to enhance area slashes.

Strengths

Smooth mobility and stylish combos.

Strong balance of range + melee.

Feels great to play as your main.

Weaknesses

Damage depends on accuracy with slashes.

Less forgiving than Dual Guns.

Verdict: Arguably the most versatile weapon. Highly recommended for advanced players.

Best Weapons Right Now

  • Top Tier: Dual Guns and Katana – Both excel in versatility, DPS, and survivability.
  • Great Picks: Guitar – Excellent ultimate and hybrid playstyle.
  • Beginner Friendly: Bat – Great starter until you unlock more options.
  • Niche: Axe – Works for melee specialists but overall outclassed.

Hunty Zombies is still in work-in-progress development, but even now, the weapon design is fun and unique. Every weapon has a place depending on your playstyle, but Dual Guns and Katana stand out as the strongest overall choices.

As updates roll out, expect new weapons and rebalancing, so keep an eye on the meta.
