If your current build struggles to scale damage in the late game or you’re hitting walls with boss progression, the EZ Freeze Build offers a powerful and accessible way to burst through most bosses — with minimal setup and just one core item.
While this Idle Boss Rush Freeze Build Guide isn’t ideal for speed-clearing the final boss, it’s extremely effective for nearly every other encounter and requires only a modest investment in prestige talents and gear.
Prestige Setup (Minimum Required)
The Freeze build revolves around a set of key talents located in the bottom-right of the skill tree.
Essential Freeze Talents:
- Freeze Stack Limit +10
- +10,000 Freeze Damage
- +1,000,000 Freeze Damage per Troll
- +1000% Freeze Damage
- +300% Freeze Damage during Rain
These alone are enough to get the build rolling. Optional talents like Farm Boosts, Loot Chance, or Click Damage can be picked up on the way depending on your available Divine Gems.
Troll Cap Upgrade (Optional):
Increasing your Troll count boosts damage significantly because of the per-troll freeze damage bonus. However, it’s not mandatory if you’re short on prestige resources.
Required Items
1. Ice Whip (Drop from Snow Boar)
This is the core item that makes the entire build possible. Get it to Epic Quality as soon as possible. Here’s why it’s so powerful:
- Lash – Adds basic Freeze stacks on click (useful early on, irrelevant once Trolls are active)
- Freeze Pop Bonus – Increases damage when Freeze stacks pop
- Megahit (20% Chance) – When it triggers, pops all Freeze stacks and deals +99,900% more damage per stack
This Megahit is the heart of the build. When it activates, it delivers massive damage — often one-shotting any boss except the final one.
2. Crystal Ring (Optional but Strong)
- Increases all elemental damage by 400%
- Reduces enemy resistance by 72%
While not mandatory, this ring dramatically increases Freeze burst potential and helps speed up kills.
Gameplay Strategy
Once your gear and talents are in place, gameplay is simple but active:
Step-by-Step:
- Focus upgrades on:
- Farm income
- Troll quantity
- Troll freeze chance
- Enter boss fights with:
- Ice Whip equipped
- Trolls actively attacking and applying Freeze
- Click repeatedly to increase Freeze stacking and trigger Megahit
- You’ll likely need only 1–3 procs to kill most bosses
- Only the final boss (and possibly the second-to-last) will require more clicks due to higher HP pools
Due to the high HP (380T) of the final boss, and the 20% chance on the Megahit proc, this build becomes inefficient in speed-clearing at the very end. You’ll need multiple Megahit activations to finish the fight.
Recommendation: Use this build to farm achievements, mid-tier bosses, or freeze-based challenges. Swap to a different composition if you’re focusing on Arena clears, timed boss rushes, or final boss speedruns.
