Upgrade that item to a reasonable level, then socket gemstones into available slots. The correct gemstones can drastically improve your build performance.
Think of gemstones as multipliers, not minor bonuses.
2) Transfer Base Performance (Synthesis System)
When you find a piece of gear with a higher Base Performance Level, don’t immediately replace your current item.
Instead, use a Synthesis Scroll.
This transfers only the Base Performance to your current gear.
Important: your Upgrade Level does NOT transfer.
This means you can keep your upgraded item while improving its base stats.
This system prevents you from having to start over every time you find better base gear.
3) Change Appearance (Cosmetic Only)
Sometimes you find gear that looks amazing but has bad stats.
That’s where the Gear Transformation Scroll comes in.
It lets you change the appearance of your current equipment without altering stats.

4) Add or Transfer Magic Options (Refinement)

You need three pieces of equipment with magic options to act as catalysts.
Using three catalysts with the same magic option increases your chance of rolling that exact option onto your main gear.
There are also Super Refining Catalysts for higher efficiency.
This system rewards planning rather than randomness.
If you want a specific stat bonus, collect matching catalysts first.
5) Personalize Your Gear (Endgame Flex)
Once your item reaches Upgrade Level +21 or higher, you unlock personalization options.
You can use a Signing Scroll to engrave your initials on the item.
Or use a Naming Scroll to rename the item entirely.
This doesn’t increase stats, but it’s a strong sign you’ve invested heavily in that piece of gear.
