Early prestiges in JJK Incremental can feel slow if you follow the normal progression path every time. You prestige, grind back through the grades, repeat the same fights, and eventually reach Special Grade again. But there’s a faster method many players use that takes advantage of how the game handles dialogue windows during fights.

With this strategy, you can climb back to Special Grade extremely quickly after prestiging by repeating fights before the game fully processes the dialogue. Once you get the rhythm down, it becomes one of the fastest early prestige grinding loops available.

Below is a clear breakdown of how the method works and how to set it up properly.

This strategy is mainly designed for low to mid prestiges.

Most players start using it around:

  • Prestige 3
  • Prestige 4
  • Up to around Prestige 10

At higher prestiges, many players switch to AFK grinding methods instead, but for early progression this technique is extremely efficient.

Before starting, you’ll need to reach Special Grade and progress through part of the story.

Preparation Before Starting the Loop

To set up the grind correctly, you first need to unlock the right story progression.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Progress through the story until you reach the Culling Games arc.
  2. Defeat Higuruma in the story missions.
  3. After beating him, enter the next Story Instance.

When the story begins, you’ll notice dialogue appearing on screen. Normally you would press continue and follow the story normally. For this method, do not press continue yet.

Fighting Behind the Dialogue

This is where the trick starts working.

Even though the dialogue window appears, the combat buttons behind it are still active.

Instead of progressing the story, you can:

  • Attack enemies behind the dialogue window
  • Finish the fight
  • Trigger the next interaction faster

So the process becomes:

  1. Enter the story instance
  2. Ignore the dialogue
  3. Fight the enemy behind the dialogue window
  4. Finish the battle

After finishing two of these story fights, you’ll move on to the next step of the grinding loop.

Adding Special Grade Curse Fights

Once you complete the story fights, you’ll switch to curse scanning.

Open the Window Radar and search for nearby curses.

Then:

  1. Find a Special Grade curse
  2. Fight it without interacting with dialogue
  3. Defeat the curse quickly

After defeating the curse, return to the Missions menu and repeat the scan again. Doing this a few times stacks extra progress before you prestige.

At this point you should have completed roughly three fast fights.

Prestiging and Restarting the Loop

Now the real grind begins.

Open the Train menu and select Prestige.

After prestiging:

  1. Go back home
  2. Meditate once to refill cursed energy
  3. Return to Missions

Meditation is optional, but many players prefer doing it so they can one-shot enemies immediately after resetting.

Using the Hidden Attack Button Trick

After prestiging, the screen can look confusing because the dialogue box partially hides the interface.

However, the attack button still exists behind the dialogue.

You can usually locate it slightly beside the dialogue window. Clicking there will trigger attacks even though you can’t clearly see the button.

Once the enemy is defeated:

  1. Open Train
  2. Select Grade Up
  3. Continue through the dialogue until the next fight begins

Then repeat the process.

Repeating the Grade Up Loop

The loop becomes very simple once you understand it.

The cycle looks like this:

  1. Fight cursed spirit
  2. Open Train → Grade Up
  3. Continue dialogue
  4. Fight again
  5. Repeat

Each fight quickly pushes you up the ranks again. Using this method, players can often reach around 150,000 power range very quickly after a prestige.

From there you can:

  • Scan for more curses
  • Run additional story fights
  • Or prestige again if ready

Early prestige grinding in JJK Incremental becomes much faster once you learn how to take advantage of dialogue interactions. By fighting enemies behind dialogue windows and quickly repeating grade upgrades, you can climb back to Special Grade far quicker than the normal progression path.

It may feel strange at first because parts of the interface are hidden, but once you learn where everything is, the entire process becomes a smooth grinding loop that dramatically speeds up early prestiges.
