Kaizen Cursed Spirit Manipulation Guide – Geto Clan

One of the biggest additions to Kaizen is Suguru Geto’s Cursed Spirit Manipulation, and if you’re a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, this is probably one of the techniques you’ve been waiting for. Unlike many other cursed techniques, Geto’s playstyle revolves around collecting cursed spirits and using them to fight alongside you, making it feel very different from the usual combat abilities.

The journey to fully unlocking everything isn’t exactly quick, though. You’ll need a rare clan, grind mastery, unlock every move, earn a Domain Expansion, and even farm the Geto Raid if you want the complete experience.

Here’s everything you need to know.

How to Get the Geto Clan

Before you can use Cursed Spirit Manipulation, you’ll first need to obtain the Geto Clan through Clan Spins.

The Geto Clan is a Mythical rarity, with only a 0.03% drop chance, so don’t expect to pull it immediately unless you’re extremely lucky.

Using Auto Spin can save some time if you’ve stocked up on Clan Spins, but since the odds are so low, be prepared for a potentially long grind.

Geto Clan Buffs

Once you finally obtain the clan, you’ll receive several passive bonuses:

  • Unlocks the Summon Curse clan ability
  • +10 Melee
  • +15 Cursed Energy
  • +10 Stamina
  • +10 Defense
  • +7% Cursed Energy Damage
  • +20% Maximum Cursed Energy

Overall, it’s a solid clan even before unlocking the full cursed technique.

How to Unlock Summon Curse

Unlike most clan skills, you can’t use Geto’s signature ability immediately.

First, you’ll need to collect 100 Cursed Souls.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Defeat cursed enemies.
  2. Collect their dropped Cursed Soul Orb.
  3. Repeat until you’ve collected 100 Souls.

Only after reaching this milestone does Summon Curse become available.

This is easily the longest part of the progression, so don’t be surprised if it takes a while.

How Summon Curse Works

After unlocking the ability, Geto can summon the last cursed spirit you defeated.

Instead of fighting alone, your summoned curse attacks enemies automatically and helps during combat.

This mechanic gives Geto a unique playstyle compared to most other techniques in Kaizen, almost feeling like you’re building your own army of cursed spirits.

All Cursed Spirit Manipulation Moves

As your Mastery increases, you’ll gradually unlock the rest of Geto’s abilities.

Abyssal Squid Barrage

The first offensive skill summons cursed squid-like attacks that strike enemies in front of you.

It’s a reliable damage move and works well while leveling your mastery.

Worm

The Worm ability appears later during progression.

Early versions of the update seemed to have visual issues, so depending on the version you’re playing, the animation may not function exactly as intended.

Once working correctly, it becomes another useful part of Geto’s combo rotation.

Pure Spirit: Rainbow Dragon

One of the flashiest moves in the entire technique.

Using Rainbow Dragon summons an enormous cursed dragon that you can briefly ride before crashing into enemies for heavy damage.

It’s easily one of the coolest animations in the update and perfectly matches Geto’s fighting style.

Maximum Uzumaki

Maximum Uzumaki is Geto’s signature ultimate attack.

After charging the technique, it unleashes an enormous blast capable of dealing massive damage to enemies caught in its path.

This becomes one of your strongest burst damage abilities and is excellent for bosses or large enemy groups.

How to Unlock Domain Expansion

After unlocking your core abilities, the next goal is Geto’s Domain Expansion.

To obtain it, you’ll need:

  • 10 Domain Shards
  • 200 Technique Mastery

The Domain Shards are relatively easy to collect compared to the mastery requirement.

Most players will spend far more time grinding mastery than farming the shards themselves.

What Geto’s Domain Expansion Does

Once activated, the Domain Expansion fills the battlefield with additional cursed spirits.

Inside the domain:

  • Extra cursed spirits continuously spawn.
  • Your attacks become much more overwhelming.
  • Multiple summons assist you throughout the fight.

The Domain doesn’t stay active for very long, likely for balancing reasons, but during its duration, it significantly boosts your offensive pressure.

How to Get Geto’s Outfit

Unlocking the technique is only part of becoming Geto.

If you also want his appearance, you’ll need to complete the Getto Raid.

The raid features multiple combat stages, including waves of cursed spirits before the final boss encounter.

Successfully clearing the raid gives you a chance to obtain Geto-themed cosmetic rewards.

Possible drops include:

  • Geto Top
  • Geto Pants
  • Other themed accessories depending on the raid rewards

Since drops aren’t guaranteed, you’ll likely need to clear the raid multiple times before collecting the full outfit.
