This updated Kingdom Rush Battles Tower Tier List is based on extensive in-game testing, efficiency analysis, and community feedback. The rankings below reflect not just raw power, but also cost efficiency, utility, and consistency across all stages of play.
Kingdom Rush Battles Tower Tier List (October 2025)

S Tier
Arcane Wizard
The undisputed king of tower efficiency. Its burst potential, support value, and coverage area make it the most flexible pick in both offense and defense. At higher levels, it can dominate lanes by softening up enemies for other towers to finish. Even after several nerfs, it remains unmatched.
A Tier
Musketeer Garrison
After more testing, Musketeer Garrison clearly outshines Archmage, especially in the early and mid-game. Its area damage is excellent right from Tier 1, and it maintains usefulness through the late game due to its consistent splash impact.
Hunter OutPost
A steady source of magic damage with excellent freezing support. Its control synergy makes it highly effective in stalling powerful waves, which is why it edges ahead of Royal Archers.
Sorcerer Mage
Still a solid performer, but slightly outclassed by Glacial Druid due to less overall control. Great range and consistent DPS, though its efficiency dips slightly at higher tiers.
Necromancer
Moved to the lowest of A tier. Despite its heavy cost, Mage Tower’s spell barrage can reach up to 6,760 burst damage, the single highest magic burst in the game. It also scales beautifully with upgrades, maintaining strong multi-target DPS and passive magic hits.
Archmage
Even though it’s costly, Archmage outperforms Tesla and Rangers Hideout in sheer lane control. It’s not efficient for rush builds but shines in endurance setups.
B Tier – Strong but Situational
Archer Tower
This one surprised many players. Despite earlier drops, further testing proved that Holy Sanctuary’s DPS cost efficiency surpasses that of Barbarian Meadhall, Tesla, and Rangers Hideout at Level 6. The tower’s hidden strength lies in its healing aura and armor buff, which can boost barracks and nearby heroes by over 25% of their HP — often swinging close battles.
Sorcerer Mage
Reliable for mid-late game scaling and synergy with golem summons. Outperforms DWAARP in terms of mixed damage types and utility.
DWAARP
Excellent AoE burst, but inconsistent in certain maps. Great damage dealer, though it falls short when range and crowd control are essential.
Necromancer
Good summon pressure but struggles against fast or armored enemies. Its position below Sorcerer Mage feels right after extended testing.
Holy Sanctuary
This one surprised many players. Despite earlier drops, further testing proved that Holy Sanctuary’s DPS cost efficiency surpasses that of Barbarian Meadhall, Tesla, and Rangers Hideout at Level 6. The tower’s hidden strength lies in its healing aura and armor buff, which can boost barracks and nearby heroes by over 25% of their HP — often swinging close battles.
Barbarian Meadhall
Solid melee pressure tower with high durability and steady output, but its range limitations make it less effective compared to others.
Archery Scout
Paladin Barracks
C Tier – Niche and Outclassed Options
Battle Mecha
As mentioned, it edges out Tesla and Rangers in cost-to-output ratio, making it the best of the low-tier picks. Strong but expensive, requiring smart placement and support.
Tesla x104
Respectable for stunning and chaining damage, but struggles against fast units and bosses.
Druid Circle
Capable of crowd control, but its effectiveness depends heavily on enemy composition and map design.
Rangers Hideout (Bottom of C)
Once a meta favorite, it’s now heavily outclassed. High cost and underwhelming performance make it less appealing for competitive setups.
D Tier – Underperformers
Currently, no towers fall under D Tier after this update, as even the lower-tier ones serve a niche role in certain builds. However, this tier is reserved for towers that may become obsolete in future balance patches.
This list highlights how Kingdom Rush Battles continues to evolve through patches and player experimentation. Towers like Holy Sanctuary and Dwarven Artillery show that performance isn’t just about raw stats — efficiency and synergy often make the biggest difference in real matches.
