Best Class & Mastery 2025

S-Tier (Meta Defining)

These masteries stand out as the strongest and most consistent across all content.

Void Knight (Sentinel)
Warp Path and Anomaly buffs made Void Knight skyrocket. It’s fast, flashy, and has some of the highest damage potential while still feeling durable. “Spin-to-win” through packs and melt bosses – the class feels like Diablo’s Barbarian on steroids.

Beastmaster (Primalist)
Particularly Bear Beastmaster, which combines insane tankiness with high companion damage. Pets scale better this season, and the synergy with the Primal Hunt rewards makes Beastmaster a powerhouse.

Falconer (Rogue)
The Ballista + Falcon combo is dominating. Falconer blends ranged precision with reliable pet utility, and Season 3 AI tweaks make the falcon deadly consistent.

Paladin (Sentinel)
Judgment was reworked into one of the most powerful skills in the game. Paladin offers survivability, group utility, and top-tier damage. A fantastic all-rounder.

Necromancer (Acolyte)
Abomination rework makes “Army of the Dead” builds terrifying. With stronger scaling and versatile hybrid setups, Necro is the definitive minion master and perfect for players who want endless summons.

A-Tier (Strong & Reliable)

Excellent options that can clear all content, just slightly behind the meta leaders.

Lich (Acolyte)
The ultimate glass cannon. Health-sacrifice skills like Death Seal and Hungering Souls melt bosses. Risk/reward gameplay feels smoother in Season 3, but you’re still very squishy if careless.

Warlock (Acolyte)
Curses and debuffs shine more than ever. Smooth scaling lets you stack debuffs and drain bosses with consistent pressure. Great for control-heavy playstyles.

Sorcerer (Mage)
Classic spellcaster raining meteors and lightning. Season 3 fixes mana sustain, and Meteor builds are especially popular for big AoE nukes.

Druid (Primalist)
Shapeshifting rework makes form-swapping faster and smoother. Bear and Swarmblade forms both feel tanky and fun. Strong mix of survival and damage, particularly in Primal Hunts.

Blade Dancer (Rogue)
High agility, shadow scaling improvements, and deadly single-target damage. One of the best boss-killers if you enjoy weaving in and out of danger.

B-Tier (Good but Situational)

Still viable, but not as consistent or flexible as the top tiers.

Spellblade (Mage)
Fast, flashy melee/magic hybrid. Shatter Strike scaling was buffed, but it remains harder to gear and riskier than Sorc. Great fun but not as competitive.

Rune Master (Mage)
More tactical than explosive. Smooth rune interactions now, but still slower-paced. Great for methodical players, though less forgiving compared to Sorc.

Marksman (Rogue)
Solid projectile reworks and strong for Monolith clearing. A reliable bow mastery but overshadowed by Falconer in overall meta strength.

Forge Guard (Sentinel)
Tanky, defensive, and steady damage. Still niche compared to Paladin/Void Knight but improved this patch with better defensive layering. Perfect for players who enjoy the “unkillable juggernaut” style.

Shaman (Primalist)
Totems and Avalanche are fun and viable, but require setup and feel less efficient compared to Beastmaster or Druid. Still competitive as a crit-based caster.

The new Primal Hunt system and Runes of Evolution give more ways to scale than ever before, meaning even B-tier classes can clear endgame smoothly if built well.
