3. The Fight

Before You Engage

  • Eat your Kunafa meal
  • Apply all item buffs at camp
  • Restock between phases if needed

Role Objectives During the Fight

Tank

  • Maintain Enmity by attacking the head
  • Create/destroy head wounds to generate shields
  • Block or dodge accordingly; shields negate ranged damage only
  • Use Guard + Guard Up to survive unblockable and stamina-draining hits

DPS

  • Focus rear legs—they’re safer
  • Avoid being greedy with combos—survival is essential
  • In Pantokrator Mode, destroy 3 leg wounds to knock him out of rage

Support

  • Keep buffs up with Hunting Horn
  • Use Wide Range and healing items proactively
  • Positioning is key—stay close but never in the way
  • Do not prioritize DPS

Omega Planetes Mechanics

Phase System

  • 4 Phases / 4 Arenas
  • After each phase, he changes arenas and gains new attacks
  • Use this time to restock, rebuff, and reposition
  • Each new phase escalates the difficulty

Enmity

  • Attained by hitting Omega’s head consistently
  • Focuses most attacks on one player—Tank only
  • Ensures safer openings for DPS and Support

Mustard Bomb

  • Tracks target, then explodes into long-lasting fire pools
  • Designated player must lure it to a corner and dodge out
  • Keep the battlefield clean for consistent DPS uptime

Pantokrator Mode (Enraged State)

  • Unleashes rapid, high-damage combos
  • Knock him out by:
    • DPS focusing rear legs
    • Destroying 3 leg wounds triggers knockdown + stun
  • Crucial for damage windows and pressure relief

Delta Attack (Phase 3 Ultimate)

  • DPS Check.
  • Omega becomes immune, flies up, and starts charging.
  • Summons a Nerscylla Clone – weak to Fire

To Survive:

  1. Everyone switches to Fire weapons
  2. Focus fire on Nerscylla Clone
  3. Kill it before Omega finishes charging
  4. A shield will spawn—stand inside it

If you fail, the shield won’t spawn. Delta Attack hits and carts the entire party.

4. Conclusion

That’s it—you now have all the tools needed to survive, support, and slay Omega Planetes. The fight is punishing, but with correct builds, communication, and awareness of mechanics, it becomes one of the most rewarding battles in the game.
