Unlocking new pots in My Leisure Time is not just cosmetic progression. Each pot tier quietly pushes you to explore new plants, upgrade your garden strategy, and unlock better farming efficiency. This guide walks you through every regular and hydroponic pot, what each one needs, and how to clear the requirements smoothly without wasting time or resources.
How Pot Unlocking Works
Flower pots unlock in a strict sequence. You cannot skip tiers, and each pot only appears after you complete the exact plant-growing objective tied to the previous one. Some requirements count total lifetime plants, while others require fresh “more” plants grown after reaching that tier. Understanding this difference saves you from accidentally grinding plants that no longer count.
Regular Flower Pots – Full Progression Path
1. Classic Clay Pot
Unlocked automatically when you open Seed Mart. This is your starting pot.
2. Polka Dot Green Pot
Grow 1 plant of any kind. This is your first test that confirms your planting system is working.
3. Eggshell Tall Pot
Grow 3 Plumeria. Focus only on Plumeria from here to avoid splitting progress.
4. Onyx Simple Tall Pot
Grow 3 Jasmine. Start planting Jasmine exclusively until this unlocks.
5. Bright Glaze Ceramic Pot
Grow 5 Azalea. This marks the first real quantity jump, so batch plant.
6. Volcano Rock Tall Pot
Grow 5 Poinsettia. Keep your soil quality high to avoid failed growth.
7. Earth Tone Striped Pot
Grow 5 Birds of Paradise. These take longer, so avoid interrupting cycles.
8. Rabbit Radish Ornate Pot
Grow 5 Clivia.
9. Ice Vein Purple Pot
Grow 5 Peony.
10. Cabbage Ceramic Pot
Grow 5 Mum.
11. Calico Cat Tall Pot
Grow 8 Rain Lily. This is the first time a plant requires more than five, so prepare extra space.
12. Ocean Blue Tall Pot
Grow Hyacinth. The exact number is unclear in early tooltips, but plant Hyacinth repeatedly until it unlocks.
13. Sunflower Shape Pot
Grow 3 more Mum. These must be grown after unlocking the Ocean Blue pot.
14. Withered Stump Pot
Grow 3 more Peony.
15. Gray-Blue Ceramic Pot
Grow 3 more Clivia.
16. Beach Wave Tall Pot
Grow 3 more Birds of Paradise.
17. Classic Gradient Pot
Grow 5 more Poinsettia.
18. Brown Rope Tall Pot
Grow 2 more Azalea.
19. Lava Clay Pot
Grow 5 Jasmine.
20. Shiny White Tall Pot
Grow 7 Hyacinth.
21. Sweet Cone Ceramic Pot
Grow 7 more Plumeria.
22. White Fox Pot
Grow 2 more Peony. Some players report slightly higher counts depending on patch version, so continue planting if it does not unlock instantly.
23. Owl Ceramic Pot
Grow 2 more Birds of Paradise.
24. Childhood Dream Pot
Grow 2 Clivia.
This completes the regular pot progression.
Hydroponic Flower Pots
Hydroponic pots are unlocked later and rely entirely on aquatic plants.
1. Yellow Ribbon Hydroponic Pot
Unlocked automatically when you reach Bloom Haven at Level 31.
2. Simple Hydroponic Pot
Grow 5 aquatic plants.
3. Third Hydroponic Pot
Grow 10 aquatic plants in total. These are lifetime totals, so previous aquatic plants count.
4. Fourth Hydroponic Pot
Grow 20 aquatic plants in total.
Hydroponic progression is faster if you focus only on aquatic plants once Bloom Haven opens.
