The first thing I always do before driving is deal with the windshield. Driving blind in My Winter Car is one of the fastest ways to wreck your car and your life.
Turn the ignition on first. Then activate the windshield heating option and switch the blower to mode two. After that, move the direction dial toward the blue area and set the temperature dial toward the red. This pushes warm air directly onto the glass and clears it surprisingly fast.

I usually let the car sit like this for a short moment before moving. That small wait has saved me from icy windshields and early crashes more times than I can count.
Refueling procedure and its implementation order
The new gas station looks simple, but the refueling process can feel confusing at first.
Park at pump one or two near the entrance. Walk to the terminal beside the pump and wait for the “Welcome” message. Insert your card or cash and select how much fuel you want.
When it asks you to set a password, remember it carefully. This becomes your permanent card PIN. Once confirmed, take your card back but do not walk away yet. Stay at the terminal until it asks you to select a pump. Choose the pump where your car is parked.
After that, you will see a message telling you to start refueling. Walk over, grab the hose, and fill your car. I always refuel early because running out of gas in winter feels like a personal attack from the game.
Cold, food
Cold:
When you first load into the game, you will find warm clothes on the floor near the exit. Put them on immediately. I made the mistake of stepping outside once without them and paid for it within seconds.
Inside buildings, you can take warm clothes off by looking down and pressing F. Both the old and new houses have heaters, so I always warm up there before heading back out.
Food:
Food is now bought at the new gas station, not at Teimo’s shop anymore. Teimo’s place mostly sells drinks and alcohol now.
I always grab food whenever I’m already at the gas station, even if I think I’m fine. Hunger drops faster than you expect.
Alcoholism
The PROBLEM bar confused me at first. It does not go down with food. It goes down with beer.
After drinking beer for a while, water and milk also help lower it. I found that alternating between beer, water, and milk keeps the bar stable and avoids pushing it too far in one direction.

Work
Job 1:
Dial 08231206 from your home phone to unlock the advertising distribution job. It is not instant, but it gives you a reliable way to start earning money.
Job 2:
The packing job is located near Fleetari. Walk into the office and talk to Suski by pressing K. After that, speak to the worker in the other room and sign the contract. Once you are officially hired, you will be told which days to come in. It feels slow at first, but it becomes a steady income source.
Rivett machine
Pick up your phone at home and dial 08609553. Let the seller finish his long monologue. When he hangs up, check your map for a new marker.
Drive there, talk to him, and pay 500 MK to buy the Corris Rivett. The first time I unlocked it, it honestly felt like discovering hidden content the game never explained.
Flitari/Rivetta
Fleetari sells Rivett parts, and some of them are expensive. I usually plan my money carefully before shopping there. The old MSC house also contains Rivett tools and catalogs, which makes it a great place to work on the car without running back and forth.
Road cameras
There are speed cameras on asphalt roads. If you see a bright flash, it means you were speeding. The first time it happened to me, I learned very quickly to respect speed limits.
Alarm
The alarm clock lets you set a wake-up time using the F key. Turn the alarm on, go to sleep, and when it rings, your day officially begins. It feels surprisingly good once you start running your in-game life on a schedule.
