Neon Abyss 2 How to Unlock All Late Game Bosses (Talos to Hyperion)

TALOS – GOD OF AI

To unlock Talos, you must first defeat Trojan – God of Hackers at least once.

  • After that initial kill, Talos will start appearing in future runs.
  • Talos usually appears on Floor 5, but it seems to alternate randomly between Trojan and Talos.
  • If you don’t encounter him right away, don’t worry—he will show up eventually as long as Trojan has been defeated.

APOLLO – GOD OF EDM

Apollo becomes available after you defeat Talos.

  • You must start a fresh run after beating Talos to be eligible to fight Apollo.
  • Like Talos, Apollo’s floor spawn is pre-set, so just progress normally through the run.

ERIS – GODDESS OF PSYCHEDELIA

Unlocking Eris requires a bit more strategy.

Here’s the requirement path:

  1. Defeat Apollo once.
  2. Start a new run.
  3. Build up your Faith Bar before fighting Apollo on this new run.
    • This is crucial—your Faith determines your progression beyond Apollo’s floor.
    • Tip: Grab the Faith pedestal right before the Apollo fight to maximize your chances of reaching Eris.
  4. If done correctly, you’ll be sent to a new floor where Eris awaits.

DARK ERIS – GODDESS OF PSYCHEDELIA

Ready for a twist? Dark Eris is an alternate boss with a slightly more complex setup.

To face her:

  1. You must have already defeated Eris at least once.
  2. Unlock the Psychedelism Faith Bar from the bar/HUB area.
  3. During your run:
    • Fill the Psychedelism Faith Bar.
    • Look for a butterfly holding the Acid Token.
    • Pick up the Acid Token before reaching the Eris floor.
  4. Watch out: There are hostile butterflies, so come prepared with plenty of health.
  5. Again, make sure you have a Faith bar active before Apollo to unlock Eris’s floor.

If all conditions are met, you’ll encounter Dark Eris instead of the standard Eris.

HYPERION – GOD OF ENTERTAINMENT

Hyperion sits at the very top of the late-game boss ladder.

Requirements:

  1. Defeat Dark Eris at least once.
  2. In a new run:
    • You must face regular Eris, not Dark Eris.
    • If you encounter Dark Eris again, the run ends after her—Hyperion won’t spawn.
    • Make sure to have a Faith bar active when entering the Apollo fight, as usual, to access Eris’s floor.
