There are dozens of unique ducks in the game, but only a portion of them become available depending on your choices, progress, and a bit of luck.

How Many Ducks Exist in the Game

At the moment, there are around 63 unique duck cards in total. However, during a single playthrough, you can only access up to 42 of them.

Blank Card Forging Ducks

One of the biggest sources of new ducks comes from forging blank cards during Act 1.

When you redeem blank cards, you gradually unlock new ducks. Each redemption can reveal up to three new ones, and the order of unlocking follows a set progression rather than being fully random.

Some of the ducks obtained this way include:

  • Knife Duck, which damages multiple slots

Because each one has a specific location or requirement, exploration plays a big role in collecting them.

Non-Duck Modification Cards

Not every collectible card is actually a duck. Some are special modifier cards that enhance your existing ducks.

These can provide abilities like healing, haste, lethal attacks, or stat boosts. They are typically obtained through exploration, NPC interactions, or defeating certain characters.

Surprise Ducks in Act 2

There is a small group of ducks that only appear under a very specific condition: losing during Act 2.

After a defeat, Carlos may provide special cards that aren’t obtainable elsewhere. These ducks are given in random order, and only a limited number have been confirmed so far.

Interestingly, resetting a round does not trigger these rewards — you must actually lose to obtain them.

Because many ducks are tied to choices, achievements, exploration paths, or special conditions, a single playthrough cannot unlock them all.
