Revolution Idle Artifacts, Relics, Refine Nodes Update

This update completely changes how progression works in Revolution Idle. A lot of systems were reworked or expanded, especially around Tarot, Refine, and long-term scaling. If you haven’t played in a while, it can feel overwhelming—but once you understand how everything connects, the progression loop becomes much clearer.

This guide explains everything in simple, human terms so you actually understand what to do and why it matters.

Revolution Idle Artifacts, Relics, Refine Nodes & New Update

The update introduces several major systems:

  • Artifacts system
  • Sacrifice mechanics
  • New relics (15 added)
  • New refine nodes (20 added)
  • Tarot expansion (new upgrades & challenges)
  • UI redesign (Infinity/Eternity menus)

Instead of just boosting numbers, the game now focuses more on long-term scaling systems that stack together.

Artifacts

Artifacts are a new progression system where you convert your Tarot resources into stronger, permanent bonuses.

What makes this system important is timing. You don’t just spend resources randomly—you want to convert them at the right moment to maximize gains. If you rush it, you lose efficiency. If you wait too long, you slow your progress.

Artifacts also introduce local speed boosts, meaning certain parts of your game (like minerals or turrets) can be sped up independently rather than globally.

Sacrifice System

The sacrifice mechanic is one of the biggest changes in this update.

When you sacrifice special minerals:

  • You permanently lose access to that type
  • In return, you gain powerful passive bonuses

Once you sacrifice all types, you unlock Sacrifice Dust, which further enhances these bonuses.

So the system is basically:

Give up something permanently → get stronger long-term progression

This is clearly designed for late-game players who are ready to trade flexibility for efficiency.

Tarot Changes

Tarot now has:

  • New menus
  • Challenges with heavy debuffs
  • Better upgrades tied to progression depth

The important idea here is that Tarot is no longer just a passive system. It now actively pushes your progression depending on how far you go.

The deeper you progress:

  • The stronger your rewards become
  • The more impactful your upgrades get

This makes Tarot one of the main scaling systems in the game now.

Refine Tree

The refine tree has been massively expanded, and this is where most of your power will come from.

Some key upgrades explained simply:

Strong Early Targets

  • Devil Node Buff
This increases the strength of the Devil effect significantly, which boosts your resource gain. Once unlocked, your scaling becomes noticeably faster because it multiplies your production rather than just adding to it.
  • Tower Upgrade (Targeted Deletion)
Instead of destroying a random gem, the tower now destroys the first gem. This sounds small, but it’s actually huge because it allows you to control what gets deleted, which makes farming much more efficient.
  • Wheel of Fortune Buff (99% success)
This makes it reliable instead of RNG-based. Once unlocked, it becomes a consistent source of gains instead of a gamble.

Mid to Late Game Nodes

  • Sacrifice Unlock Node
This is where the new sacrifice system actually becomes usable. You’ll start gaining dust when deleting minerals, which feeds into long-term progression.
  • Passive Special Mineral XP
This allows you to gain XP automatically over time based on relics and other systems. It’s very important for AFK players.

Relics

With 15 new relics added, relic progression becomes more layered rather than just linear.

Some relics now:

  • Boost special mineral XP
  • Increase local speed
  • Improve refine effects

Instead of being standalone upgrades, relics now support other systems, especially sacrifice and artifacts.

Refine Nodes

The new refine nodes introduce something important:
not all upgrades are about raw resource gain anymore.

Some nodes now:

  • Boost specific tarot cards (like swords or wands)
  • Increase max upgrade levels
  • Improve mechanics like luck or dust gain

This creates separate progression paths, meaning you’re not just scaling one thing—you’re building multiple systems together.

Automation

Automation has become much more important in this update.

You should:

  • Enable auto tarot usage
  • Use auto merge and auto sell features
  • Automate attack cycles

The reason is simple:
progression now depends heavily on constant background activity.

If you’re not automating, you’re wasting potential gains.

Special Minerals Strategy

Special minerals are now tied into multiple systems:

  • Relics
  • Sacrifice
  • Refine

One key strategy is focusing only on important minerals instead of all of them.

For example:

  • Ignore weaker ones like blue or green
  • Focus on gold and black minerals
  • Delete unnecessary high-level minerals to prevent grid clogging

This improves efficiency, especially for long AFK sessions.

Time Flux

Time Flux gives you passive time-based progression.

Even if you’re not actively playing:

  • You gain progress per hour
  • Your systems continue scaling

For players who don’t grind actively, this is extremely valuable.

This update makes Revolution Idle feel much deeper, but also more complex.

At first, it might feel confusing because:

  • There are many new systems
  • Not everything is explained clearly
  • Progress feels slower

But once you understand how everything connects—Artifacts, Refine, Tarot, and Sacrifice—the game becomes much more strategic.

Instead of just grinding numbers, you’re now building a long-term progression engine.
