As you explore different islands in VOYAGERS, keep your eyes open for interactable or collectible items. Some are valuable, while others can give you a serious edge in combat or navigation.

Game Mechanics
When you first load into the game:

You’ll spawn on a ship, either solo or with your teammates (in multiplayer).

Tip: Grab everything — you’ll need them more than you think.
Hunger & Cooking

Your hunger bar will drop over time.

Use the stove in the basement to cook fish (caught with the rod).

Eating cooked fish restores hunger and slowly heals you.
Eating burnt fish might seem fine at first, but it permanently speeds up your hunger drain. After just two burnt fish, your hunger can deplete twice as fast. Avoid it unless you’re desperate.
Merchants
Merchant stands can occasionally be found on islands — but they spawn randomly and aren’t guaranteed.
Look for a small cabin with a selling crate. Drop your items in the crate to receive silver, which can be used for upgrades or new items.

Sea Events
Sailing across the ocean isn’t always smooth — sometimes, the game will throw random sea events your way. Here’s what to expect and how to survive:
Storms
Suddenly, the sky turns gray, and a violent storm rolls in.

Rain and giant waves make sailing dangerous.

Visibility drops, making it hard to see obstacles or land.

Standing out in the open can get you struck by lightning, which can instantly kill you.
Best strategy? Stay below deck and wait it out — or get moving quickly if you can avoid the storm.
Fog & Fogborn Attacks
Fog can creep in at any time, and it completely disables your ship’s movement.
While trapped in the fog:

Visibility is near zero.

You’ll be attacked by 3 waves of Fogborns – ghost-like enemies that float onto your ship.

Each wave brings more enemies than the last.
Survive all waves, and the fog slowly clears, allowing you to sail again.
Make sure your crew is armed and ready before you sail into unknown waters — the Fogborns hit hard, especially if you’re caught off-guard.
