Stocking strategy
1) Assign “velocity tiers”
- Tier S (fast): Single boosters, sleeves, penny sleeves, toploaders
- Tier A (fast/medium): Booster boxes, decks, deckboxes, playmats
- Tier B (slow/steady): Books, collection albums, pocket pages
- Tier C (showpiece): Statues and premium figurines
Give Wide Shelf rows to S and A items first.
2) Reorder points (simple and safe)
Use these per-row thresholds:
- Boosters (64): Reorder at 24 left
- Sleeves/Mags (40): Reorder at 16 left
- Toploaders (32): Reorder at 12 left
- Deckboxes (16): Reorder at 6 left
- Booster boxes (8): Reorder at 3 left
- Battle/Destiny (15): Reorder at 5 left
It keeps facings full without overstocking the back room.
3) Bundle the “attachables”
Every booster wall should have a Protection Row within 1–2 tiles:
- Penny sleeves, toploaders, magnetic holders.
Attach a small sign: “Protect your pulls →”. These items spike attach rate and stabilize cash flow.
4) Rotate slow SKUs onto Small Cabinets
If a figurine line stalls, move it to a Small Cabinet row (still solid capacity) and free the Wide Shelf for high-velocity SKUs.
5) Weekend flip
Before peak hours, convert one Wide Shelf row from decks → more boosters. After peak, flip it back if decks need representation. It’s a quick profit lever.
Upgrade path (no regrets)
Start with Small Cabinet + Small Metal Rack to cover all categories.
Buy one Wide Shelf and move: Boosters → Sleeves → Booster Boxes → Decks.
Add a second Wide Shelf and consolidate all protection supplies on it.
Add third/fourth Wide Shelves for boosters and seasonal drops; demote slow merch to Small Cabinets.
