The Incident at Galley House Achievements Guide – Codes

If you’re aiming for 100% completion in The Incident at Galley House, you’ll quickly realize that not every achievement is unlocked just by progressing through the story. Some are easy to miss, a few require experimenting with the machine, and several are hidden behind major story revelations.

The good news is that none of the achievements are particularly difficult once you know what the game expects. The challenge mostly comes from figuring out the correct codes and knowing when certain achievements become available.

This guide walks through every achievement in the game, explains exactly how to unlock each one, and points out the achievements that contain major story spoilers. If you haven’t finished the game yet, consider returning later for the hidden section.

The Incident at Galley House Achievements Guide – Codes

These achievements unlock naturally as you work through the investigation.

Seance

How to unlock: Watch your first scene using the machine.

This is the very first achievement most players will earn. Simply enter a valid scene code and view any memory for the first time.

There’s nothing special you need to do here.

Machine Supervisor

How to unlock: Restore power to the machine.

Part of the main story progression.

Researcher

How to unlock: Continue restoring the machine.

Unlocked automatically as you progress through the investigation and repair the generator.

Technical Engineer

How to unlock: Fully restore power.

The final achievement in the generator restoration chain.

If you’re following the story normally, you’ll earn all three of these without going out of your way.

House Tour

How to unlock: Watch at least one scene in every room.

As you uncover more memories, you’ll naturally gain access to every area of Galley House.

Once you’ve viewed a scene from every location, the achievement unlocks automatically.

If it doesn’t pop by the end of the game, double-check that every room has been visited at least once.

Exploration Achievements

These achievements require interacting with some of the game’s systems beyond simply watching scenes.

Persistence

How to unlock: Enter the same incorrect code twice.

This one’s surprisingly simple.

Enter any invalid code into the machine. After it fails, immediately enter the exact same incorrect code again.

The achievement unlocks after the second failed attempt.

Death Note

How to unlock: Mark a death on the timeline.

Open the Reminders menu located above the character status panel.

Then:

  1. Open a timecode where a character dies.
  2. Select the skull icon.
  3. Confirm your selection.

Once you’ve marked the death, the achievement will unlock.

Full House

How to unlock: Unlock every location in Galley House.

Every room in the Locations tab must be correctly identified.

The game uses the first two letters of each location as its code.

Here’s the complete list.

Code Location
QU Quail Lane
EN Entrance
LI Living Room
ST Study
BI Billiard Room
DI Dining Room
KI Kitchen
MA Martha’s Room
OS Oswald’s Room
HE Helen’s Room
ED Eddie’s Room
VI Victoria’s Room
TO Tony’s Room
AT Attic
CH Chapel
WI Wintercote

Once every location has been correctly identified, the achievement unlocks.

TYPE HE-L-P

How to unlock: Ask the machine for help.

This is one of the more unusual achievements because it requires manually editing the People tab.

Here’s what to do:

  • Open the People menu.
  • Rename two unused character slots to L and P.
  • Enter a scene code for Helen’s Room that includes those characters.

The machine should interpret the code as:

01-HE-L-P

Once the code is accepted, you’ll receive the achievement.

Hidden Story Achievements (Spoilers)

The following achievements reveal important story details.

If you haven’t finished the main mystery yet, now is a good time to stop reading.

Inciting Incident

How to unlock: Learn the fate of Person 12.

Person 12 is Rupert Galley, represented by the Fox portrait.

Use the following code:

01-ST-12

Watch the scene to unlock the achievement.

Not Over Yet

How to unlock: Learn the fate of Person K.

Person K is Katherine Beaumont, represented by the Deer portrait.

Use this code:

25-WI-K

Viewing the scene unlocks the achievement.

A Shocking Revelation

How to unlock: Discover the hidden body.

This achievement becomes available after completing the original Type Help storyline and entering the game’s new investigation sequence.

Simply continue progressing through this section until the discovery is made.

Still Alive

How to unlock: View a scene containing only living people.

After gaining Administrator Access, enter a present-day scene featuring yourself.

One example is:

32-LI-70

Viewing the scene should immediately unlock the achievement.

Hallucination

How to unlock: Watch the game’s final scene.

Use the following code:

00-LI-3-5-6-7-8-10-12

Watching this memory unlocks the achievement.

Since this is effectively the ending of the game, it’s best saved until you’ve completed everything else.

Spectronoeticist Achievement

Spectronoeticist

How to unlock: View every scene in the game.

This is the achievement most completionists will finish last.

To unlock it, you must watch every available scene, including the final scene used for the Hallucination achievement.

If you’ve unlocked every story achievement but this one is still missing, you’re almost certainly missing one optional memory somewhere in your archive.

Going through your discovered scenes and filling any remaining gaps is usually enough to trigger it.

Most achievements in The Incident at Galley House are designed around exploring the machine’s mechanics rather than completing difficult gameplay challenges. As long as you experiment with scene codes, investigate every location, and keep progressing through the mystery, you’ll naturally unlock the majority of them.

The only achievements that typically trip players up are TYPE HE-L-P, Persistence, and Spectronoeticist, since they require actions that aren’t immediately obvious. Once those are out of the way, reaching 100% completion is mostly a matter of making sure you’ve seen every scene the game has to offer.
