The Queen Gondola Guide – All Anomalies, Achievement

If you’re trying to complete The Queen’s Gondola, one of the biggest challenges is spotting every anomaly before it catches you off guard. Some changes are incredibly obvious, while others are subtle enough that you might walk right past them without noticing.

This guide covers every known anomaly, explains how achievements work, and shares a few beginner tips that can help you survive more runs.

The Queen Gondola Guide – All Anomalies, Achievement

Before jumping into anomaly hunting, there are a few things worth knowing.

  • Use Left Mouse Button (LMB) to zoom in whenever you need a closer look at objects around the room.
  • Hold Shift to run if you need to move around more quickly.
  • The first room is always safe and never contains an anomaly, making it a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the environment before the real challenge begins.

The more familiar you become with the room’s normal appearance, the easier it becomes to notice even the smallest changes.

All Anomalies

Below are all currently known anomalies found in The Queen’s Gondola.

Red Light

One of the easiest anomalies to notice is when the room becomes illuminated by a strong red light. Since the normal lighting changes dramatically, this is usually easy to identify.

Carpet Changes

The carpet may appear with a completely different shape and color. If the floor decoration doesn’t match what you normally see, you’ve likely found this anomaly.

Newspaper Changes

Check the newspaper carefully.

Normally it appears untouched, but this anomaly replaces it with a vandalized version containing text about a witch instead of the queen.

Floating Books

Books normally stay on the shelves, but during this anomaly they begin floating in the air, making it one of the more noticeable room changes.

Book Under the Sofa

Look near the sofa beside the window.

A book appearing underneath the sofa indicates an anomaly.

Handprints on the Window

Inspect the windows whenever you enter the room.

If you notice mysterious handprints pressed against the glass, that’s an anomaly.

Missing Sofa Cloth

The decorative cloth covering the sofa can disappear completely.

Since it’s a fairly large object, this change is easier to spot once you’re familiar with the room.

Curtain Gem Color Change

The curtain decorations normally feature green gems.

If those gems become red instead, you’ve found another anomaly.

Stacked Books

Some books inside the bookshelf may suddenly become stacked on top of one another instead of remaining properly arranged.

This is a fairly subtle anomaly, so checking the bookshelf carefully is recommended.

Water Leaking from the Ceiling

Rain or water may begin falling from the ceiling even though you’re indoors.

This is one of the more obvious environmental anomalies.

Cracked Windows

The windows can suddenly develop visible cracks.

Since the glass normally remains intact, damaged windows are an immediate warning sign.

Eyeballs Above

Look upward occasionally.

If strange eyeballs appear overhead, the room has been affected by an anomaly.

Vampire Portrait

One of the portraits changes dramatically, causing the woman to resemble a vampire.

Pay close attention to facial features whenever checking the paintings.

Blinking Portrait

This is separate from the vampire portrait anomaly.

Instead of changing appearance, the woman in the portrait simply blinks.

Because both anomalies affect the same painting, make sure you check it carefully every time.

Crying Eye

An eye within the room may begin crying.

Although subtle, it’s another visual change worth watching for during each run.

Hand Emerging from the Door

One of the deadliest anomalies involves a hand reaching out from the door as you approach.

If you continue toward it, the hand grabs and kills you.

Allowing this anomaly to kill you unlocks the “Fly you Fool!” achievement.

Flickering Candelabra

The lights on the candelabra begin flickering.

This anomaly can be difficult to notice because it relies on movement rather than a permanent visual change, so take a second to observe the candles before moving on.

Achievement Guide

Several achievements require more than simply finishing a run.

Another Day at the Court

Read every diary page during a single run to unlock this achievement.

Fly You Fool!

Allow the anomaly with the hand coming out of the door to kill your character.

The Alert Scholar

Complete an entire run without making any mistakes.

If you fail at any point, restart the game and try again.

Something Feels Off

This achievement requires multiple playthroughs because anomaly appearances are random.

Keep playing until the necessary anomaly conditions eventually occur.
