VV Ultimatum Update 1 Guide – Codes, New Race, Skills

The first major update for VV: Ultimatum has arrived, bringing new race abilities, organization bases, skill essences, combat improvements, progression adjustments, quality-of-life changes, and numerous balance fixes.

Players can also redeem the code UPDATE1 for free rewards.

New Race Abilities

Three new race abilities have been added:

  • Praying Mantis (Arrancar)
  • Demon Light (Shinigami)
  • The Iron (Quincy)

The Iron includes six different variants.

Organizations Update

Organisations have received a major expansion with the introduction of customizable bases.

New Features

  • Organisation bases can now be purchased through the organisation upgrade menu.
  • Leaders can choose a base name.
  • Base names now appear in the teleport interface.
  • Multiple base locations and appearances are available.
  • Purchase decorations and props using organisation funds.
  • Customise prop colours and materials.
  • Place props freely within your base.
  • Organization rank management is now available by default without requiring an upgrade.

Additional Changes

  • Organization UI button moved to the top-left corner.
  • Level requirement to create an organization reduced from 35 to 20.

New Skill Essences

Two new raid-exclusive skill essences have been added:

  • Hakuda Skill Essence
  • Speed Skill Essence

Players can obtain both from raid rewards.

Visual Updates

Emotes and Spawn Animations

  • New visual effects for the Malevolence spawn animation.
  • New emote: Day Three.
  • New emote: Bye Bye.

Models

  • New Goryutenmetsu dragon model.
  • New shark model.
  • New water puddle model.

Combat Changes

Several combat systems have been adjusted to improve responsiveness and consistency.

Improvements

  • Player M1 hitboxes have been improved.
  • NPC yellow attacks and zone attacks are now displayed in orange.
  • Orange attacks indicate unblockable, undodgeable, and uncounterable attacks.
  • Dash invulnerability frames have been slightly increased.

Progression Changes

The early-game experience has been adjusted to help new players level faster.

Giant Dragonfly Changes

  • Overall stats reduced.
  • Dragonflies spawn later during encounters.
  • Danger effect timing adjusted.
  • Grab attack should now be easier to avoid.

Quality of Life Changes

Numerous quality-of-life improvements have been added:

  • Equipment tooltips now compare stats with currently equipped gear.
  • New photo sensitivity setting added.
  • Reset build description corrected.
  • Vasto Guard Break animation fixed.
  • Cero Absorption description updated.
  • Thunderbolt aura effects reduced when using Hakuda.
  • Taking damage while viewing the skill tree now closes the menu.
  • Psycho Crash now properly displays damage and posture damage values.
  • Players who are knocked down three times consecutively now die instantly.
  • Unused Ascension Shards are no longer lost when using APR or SPR.
  • New icon added for opening the Organization menu.
  • Ascension EXP increased from 12.5% to 15%.

Balance Changes

Ability Fixes

  • Superstar revive passive fixed.
  • Superstar guard break passive fixed.

Thunderbolt Adjustments

  • M1 damage reduced.
  • Posture damage reduced.

Additional Combat Adjustments

  • Landing M1 attacks now generates a small amount of Heat.
  • Luminosity M1 synchronization improved.
