Rainbow Six Siege will be free to play next week

To kick off and celebrate the new season of Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft is making the game free to play for a limited time starting August 28th.

If you haven’t heard of Rainbow Six Siege, it is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One on December 1st, 2015. The game puts heavy emphasis on environmental destruction and cooperation between players. Six Siege has a massive player base and is probably one of the largest played games in the world. Rainbow also has a rather large Esports presence.

One of the major factors that had held Six Siege from growing is its price. However, Rainbow Six Siege will be available to play for free from August 29 until September 3rd! This will give players an excellent opportunity to get familiar with the game. If they enjoy their experience, they can then purchase the game for themselves.

During the free-to-play period, players will have access to all maps, game modes and be able to play up to 20 Legacy operators. That is a great deal.

Any player who starts playing during the free period will have their progress saved. No interruptions will take place if you decide to buy the full game.

Along with the free to play week, many other changes happened in Siege with the new season such as an updated Kanal map and two new operators.

You can directly access the free to play period through your favourite game store that sells Rainbow Six Siege.
